I am playing this for the Hawaii Youth Symphony. This sounds amazing. One of the sweetest songs I ever played for my orchestra.
Thank you for sharing your performance information with me. Keep on playing your favorite instrument, and enjoy the ensemble with other players!
so this is not middle school music performance
We are playing this work in Orchestra.
Thank you for stopping by. Keep on playing your loved instrument, and enjoy the ensemble!!
@ Thank you for composing this beautiful work
I love this song so much, it takes me back to thinking about a ancient village in Japan by a mountain cascade the rivers overflow.
Thank you for sharing your memories in Japan with me. I miss my country so much.
Im playing this in high school currently measure 58 is just so mesmerising for me it sounds just wow I love this so so much ❤️. (Btw Im a second violin.)
Also I forgot to ask do you have any more songs that sound like that measure specifically ?
@@Stinkygremlindraws-v2n It's good to hear you have been working on this piece. The second violin is so active and important in this piece. Answering your question, one of my pieces, "Ripples," has the same kind of moment in the middle section. Please check it out. I hope you like it! ua-cam.com/video/_ZThQAF_J54/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/pnutjndec2w/v-deo.html
Thank you so much for replying, I loved ripples so so much I might ask my teacher if we can play it. We had our concert last week and we played winter milky way but it wasn’t our best song because we had so little time to practice. But it was still my favourite I love your music.
song is really good, gives me +50 stat bonus while im playing (2nd chair cello)
I love the cello and bass pizzicato in the middle section! It's stable but emotional inside. Enjoy the music♪
This song is really good I think I’m going to suggest it to my band teacher, J just wish it had more percussion in it.
Thank you for stopping by and liking this piece.
No problem don’t get me wrong this is amazing!
I’m in a chamber orchestra and as a first violinist I love this piece even though it’s challenging it’s worth it
I understand. Lyrical music makes it more challenging to express your feelings using the instrument. Enjoy and Play it from the heart!
I can not find the "assumption of water" but it urgent..
Im playing this soon for a state concert. love the song!
Thank you for telling me! Play it from the heart. Good luck(*^^*)♪
I played this song in one of my music teachers concerts it was so gold ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Wonderful! Enjoy the ensemble with other players.
Were playing this piece for our Christmas concert this year my band director literally loves your music
Thank you for your comment! Please also listen to the band version! Keep on playing your favorite instrument!
This was the first piece I’ve ever heard from you and I loved it! I can’t find any better slow/calm pieces from other composers. You are truly one of a kind
Thank you for finding my music out of thousands of works out there!
My friends played this in band and insist that band is the better version, but I am in orchestra, I'm tired of fighting them aaaaaaa!!! (Just kidding hahaha, the piece is great.)
Each version has its own beauty. What you love most is the best one. I composed this piece for string orchestra first. After that, the band sound came to my mind, and I arranged it for concert band. So, these two versions are essential to me. Thank you for visiting here!
Beautiful

When they saw the works, they did not recognize the Master, but took fire, wind, fleeting air, the circle of stars, the mighty flood, or the celestial lights that dominate the world for gods. 3 If they took these to be gods, delighted by their beauty, then they should also have recognized how much better their Master is, for the Author of beauty created them. 4 And if they were amazed at their power and effectiveness, then they should also have recognized how much more powerful is He who created them; 5 for from the greatness and beauty of the creatures their Creator is seen in correspondence. (Book of Wisdom 13:3)
Your orchestration skills always amaze me! The textures you’re able to achieve are a sight to behold. My day always improves so much when you upload a new song :)
Thank you, as always♡
I love this piece so much! I played it my Senior year of highschoo (on Double Bass) l and now im playing it again freshman year college (on Harp) in a volunteer string orchestra where people play secondary instruments. I actually wrote a whole Harp part for myself to play in this piece! If you would like to listen to a short midi clip of it, I would totally send it so you can hear what I wrote!
I'm glad you had a couple of chances to play this piece. Thank you for telling me! I would love to hear your own harp part. Please send me the Dropbox link or another way like Google Drive to my Gmail address. Please do not send the audio file directly. yukikonishimuracomposer@gmail.com

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you perform one of these soon in your group.
very nice
Thank you!!
I just discovered this piece from your Instagram post! I love finding new pieces from you, especially when they’re all as amazing as this one ❤
It's good to hear from you again. I'm glad you liked it❣
I am playing this for my first ever year in a full orchestra and i am on first violin. This one is mostly easy except for the slightly challenging sixteenth note runs in the middle. We have themes for every year and this year’s theme is “elements”. We also are playing an arrangement of the firebird suites’ danse infernal and bercuse & finale, a song called perseids, named after the famous meteor shower, and a song called “brighter than the flames”. This is one of my favorite pieces that we are playing.
Thank you for stopping by and leaving a message. I am happy to hear you are enjoying playing Water Reflections. Hope the whole concert brings a wonderful moment to the audience!
I don't know what position you are playing the sixteenth note runs in but I recommend first position, that's what I'm doing
@@Ghostii_3221@Ghostii_3221 The position of the first violin from measure 31 depends on the passage. It can be started in the third position and then switched to the first position. You can choose the way that you think it's easier to handle your bows.
I often listen to your music during my work at home. This music stopped my hands and fingers in front of my laptop. I sat straight and listened to this beautiful music. "The Flow of The Time" is compared to our lives. Ups and downs, sadness and happiness, lively and slowing down - those are coming to our life like tides and waves. I briefly recalled my life until today and imagined the days in front of me which are numbered. We live such a busy life, but thanks to your music, I can reaffirm that I am still a human being whose heartstrings is tugged by this wonderful music piece.
That's exactly what I was thinking about when I wrote this piece. The ebb and flow of the tide is just like our lives. As an educational piece, it might be hard for students to understand this kind of feeling. But I felt I should write this piece for listeners of all generations. And this is exactly like my recent life. As always, thank you for visiting here!! ありがとうございます!
I first played your music in band and immediately fell in love. Next school year for orchestra we are playing Luna and I can't wait because you are my favorite composer. Your songs are inspiring and calming. Thank you for all the hard work you put into your music! ❤(I play oboe and violin)

@@yukikonishimura_composer that would be perfect!
Outstanding band! I'd like to hear about what gave you the inspiration for the sounds and themes in this movement. Thanks. Another great piece!
I wanted to express the city's coolness and the temperature of the air and wind there. Also, I wanted to feel the precise vertical rhythms. It's not an emotional thing, but a more mechanic atmosphere is here, which is related to the coolness. That is why I used the muted trumpet in this movement.
I plan to program this piece for our December concert. I think it is my 4th piece of yours I taught to my students. Thanks. CP
Thank you for considering it for your December concert. I wish I could listen to the sound. Please share the recording with me afterward.
