68 Mustang door lock grommet and knob replacement

Replaced the metal look plastic grommet and knob which I believe was standard on a 68 with a metal grommet for a 69 through mid 70s mustang (btw-i said 66 in the video by mistake). The knob was a generic price from Amazon. Looked to be tons of options from which to choose.

My experience installing a cheap 2" minitach in my 68 Mustang instrument cluster. Hopefully it helps somebody out there. I didn't know what to expect when I started but I think it turned out pretty good. Tach used (found on Aliexpress): Tachometer Tach Gauge with Holder Cup for Auto Car 2" 52mm 0~8000RPM Blue LED Light
Play in distributor rotor?

Ford 289, looking for help regarding play in the HEI distributor rotor. When warmed up and at low RPM it sounds like this thing is bouncing around inside the cap.

Trying to record a clunking noise heard on my Mustang after it warms up. This video will be posting to a forum just to see if anybody knows what's going on. The noise only happens after it's warmed up. When cold seems to run pretty smooth. I have no idea what I'm doing but I'm trying to learn. Thanks

Vacuum reading in park and while in gear. Reading looks good in park but drops and moved around a bit while in gear.

Nice video. Good clean install and actually I just learned the headlight knob is dimmable from you. Wow. Also maybe a smoked lense cover over the tach to even out the lighting? Just a thought
Hey, I just took out my distributor and it looks about the same as yours did but I'm having trouble reinstalling it . Did anyone on the forum give you advice about the best way to reinstall ?
hope you found the problem , mine make a noise too, i seams to be the transmission pump so I'll have to take it down and check it out.........

Awesome job great video. I had a couple of the retrogauge mini tachs I bought way back and sold them when I got a deal on a Dakota Digital Cluster. My 68 is still under construction but cant wait to get it going again.
