Awesome video. Do you really have to replace the studs for the backing plate? Seems like the new bolts you got are a little long while the XJ studs seem like they wouldve fit.

That line touching the plate for the u bolts feels sketchy

Locktite on those backing plate bolts... no?? Or are those locking nuts?

I'll be honest man when I saw the vehicle I was like "this is gonna be a mess inside..." but I was wrong. You have a very nice and simple set up. I like the way you organized it and kept it minimal, and everything you did was pretty good quality compared to the cluttered mess you see inside a lot of SUVs. I just traded in my overland built 4runner today and bought my 1st Suburban and your video gave me a couple ideas. Thanks!

I installed mine yesterday, they're $139.00 now before any discounts and the one I got has the NAPA logo. I have a 5x8 cargo trailer conversion with a dyi unistrut roof rack and the install was easy.
