Western Christians have been fooled by satan with the fake babylonian talmudic calendar and the identity of this current day Israel via the Scofield Bible, supporting the very SOS Jesus warns us of and missing all of God's appointed times. This is why satan changes the 'times and seasons'. You'll miss your Dr's appointment if you're looking at the wrong calendar right? Same premise. John the Baptist belonged to the Essenes who were a remnant sect that wanted nothing to do with the false religious system at that time in Jerusalem.
Where are you reading from? I just stumbled on knowing about the Essenes.
