We are excited to be raising money for Haven Women's Drop in Centre. Haven is the first ever female drop-in referral-only service for women in Portsmouth who have experienced gender-based violence. The group also includes a small number of at-risk British women. Portsmouth City of Sanctuary (PCoS) co-founded HAVEN with Harbour Church -VISTA, SPA 61 projects, and The Medaille Trust’s Moving-On Project. HAVEN has supported over 250 women since opening its doors in May 2021. The group provides a safe, confidential space for women, who are treated to a lovely brunch and activities such as creative workshops. In addition, inspirational professional women are invited into the space to provide awareness sessions.
