I like the variety here, there's a good mix of everything. I generally aim to have one game of every style even if it's not my idea of fun, as often there's at least one title in every genre that's worth having/playing even if it's initially not your cup of tea, I've found some amazing games by being less specific and branching out with my tastes. From a pure pick up and have some fun perspective WHEELMAN is worth a look.

Just found this video while playing Darksiders. Such a good game. Also, thank you for reminding me of the saboteur. My brother and I were racing to finish the game first. I never completed it, he did tho. I haven't seen him for over a decade. I just bought the game to finally finish.

i loved resi village, how the game was designed around the village as a hub and each main enemy has kind of its own area gave it an amazing videogame<ey vibe, idk. it was really fun and got it plsatinum for ps4 and ps5 without autopopping, i know as a resi game it disappointed a lot of people but for me it was amazing. prolly gonna buy nfs unbound after hearing your thoughts if i can find it for cheap

"collecting nono" is funny and ridiculous at the same time. I recently purchased a sealed collector's edition of No More Heroes 1 & 2 from Limited Run off eBay and my friend nearly lost his mind when I immediately opened it. Like what the fuck am i going to do with a sealed box? It's not an investment, there's stocks for that.

Some older games that I removed from my backlog in recent months are Mirror's Edge Catalyst and Life is Strange 2, both for the PS4. Mirror's Edge Catalyst was decent, although certainly not a must-play. It's good for people who enjoyed the first game and would enjoy more of the same but with a bit of an open world setting this time. Life is Strange 2 was pretty interesting. At first it makes you think that it will be another school or college life setting like the first game but then there is a big twist early on and it ends up being something completely different, which I was not super into at first but in the end it was actually not that bad. And I really like that your choices throughout the game actually affect the ending this time. In Life is Strange 1 and Before the Storm the ending was just a binary choice at the very end but this time it was actually a bit more complicated.

Cool list. I only played NFS Unbound from these so far, which was definitely alright for a playthrough. I would like to try a Yakuza game one day to see what they are like but I would like to start at the beginning of the story, which I guess would be with Yakuza 0 and that game is a bit too long for me right now. I would also like to try one of the modern AC games but I would probably go for Origins myself, as the Egypt setting interests me more than the Greece or Viking settings.

Me too, I farm trophies here and there and only get willing to get platinums when I feel like it. Chasing platinums just isn't fun as I just want to play the game for the game lol
