Hi Amy, as far as I know this is the oldest style room but I have been in other rooms that have a little different furniture but basically in the same style. I hope this helps. Happy vacationing! :)

@@makingmemories8291 thank you! I have it booked for May, I’d really love to get a newer room. I don’t have a timeshare though it’s booked through Expedia so I’m not sure if they will give me a newer one if I request it. I will still ask and see what happens. Hi, at the time that this video was made they were only supplying Fun Times on the first day of the cruise but since this video they now put them in your cabin everyday again. Happy cruising! :)

Hello there! Thanks so much for your feedback! We love staying there! We usually stay in the newer buildings but did stay in an older style a couple of times as well. I think this is a gem being so close to Disney World that not many people know about. Glad we found it though! I didn’t realize that they had pet friendly buildings so thanks for the info. Hi there! The cabin was great especially for the price. We did not hear a lot of noise from below although we were only in the room to sleep. We had calm seas so there was very little motion as well. I would book this room again if I didn’t want a balcony. Happy cruising!!

Hi there, it’s hard to say which is my favorite because they all have their appeal. I like Regal because it is the newest and nicest in my option but it is at the bottom of the mountain and if you want the best view you need to be at the top and most of the amenities are on the mountain. Eagle Trace is great if you are going with a lot of people and want some privacy because it is town house style with with an upstairs and downstairs apartments which can be locked off or used as 1 big unit, just make sure to stay on the top of the mountain and not in the valley because the views in the valley aren’t great. The summit is on the mountain and great for anyone going skiing as they have ski in and out rooms and a lot of the rooms overlook the ski slopes or tubing area. Hi Diane! The new rooms with the pink and blue furniture are not in this building. They took one of the regular non-DVC buildings and made it into a DVC building and those are the new rooms everyone is showing. I personally like the original DVC building better, it’s quieter and the rooms have nicer bathrooms and a little kitchenette area that the newer rooms don’t have, although the new rooms have a very pretty color scheme. Hi CSpice! So RCI won’t handle any requests instead you have to call the resort directly about 2 weeks in advance to request what you want. Requests are not always granted but most times they are. I’m not sure if the Mardi Gras cove balconies can be adjoined because there are big steel doors that they close over the balcony doors during bad weather so that may interfere with having the balconies adjoin but you could check with Carnival before you book your cabin. Hi, actually the DVC studio rooms are a bit nicer because they are set up a bit differently. A DVC room is set up with a queen bed and couch that turns into a Murphy bed. It also has a little kitchenette area, and a double bathroom (only 1 toilet). The regular non DVC rooms are set up like a typical hotel room with 2 queen beds, no kitchenette and 1 single bathroom. You can also get DVC rooms that have 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms, the master bedroom typical is a king sized bed, with full kitchens and your own washer and dryer in the room. Hope this helps. :)

Hi there! Unfortunately because of the ice field the ships can only go so close to the glacier and the much smaller boats can navigate the ice much easier so to get a good view of the glacier you need to take the excursion. You may get to see part of the glacier from the ship in the distance but it is very weather dependent and how bad the ice field is was how it was explained to us. Tracy Arm Fjord is not a stop rather than the ship does a slow steady cruise through the Fjord then turns around and goes back the other way. The only stop it made was for the excursion boat to pull up along side to transfer the guests on. Hope this helps and I hope you have an amazing cruise!! :)
