I've seen them 5 times live. The last two shows were in Phoenix and this one at the Whiskey. I'm not sure what's happened (I have some ideas) but they sound better, heavier and happier than ever. If you haven't seen them live you are missing out. All facets are working, great rock drumming, great guitar riffs and super bass playing. And I'll just finish by saying if you have not heard Mariah sing live you are missing singing talent that doesn't come along very often.

They should've been given a headlining spot. I know this was a mayhem fest reintroduction but damn they missed the mark with this line-up. There were two other stages without seats that had bands playing at the same time and those were the cheaper tickets, there's a grassy area behind these seats so I'm sure there were more ppl there as well.

If I was a fan and if I had been there and if I had watched the whole concert while holding my phone above my head ...I'd be pissed at finding this youtube video.

Kreator definitely kicked ass, they are one of the few bands that sound perfectly good live like they do on tape. Two mush pits, A guy carring a 10 yr old boy in one of them, It was great!. On the other hand, I honestly could not recognize any of Testament's songs (and I'm a Metal head) so me and my 16yr old son just walked out. Kreator's performance was more than worth the ticket price. I'm still recuperating.

Ale, singing and playing with more confidence than a ten-year-old should have, especially one smaller than her bass! But Escape the Mind is the gem, Pau all alone and giving you a glimpse of the singer of Black Holes and Breathe; then her sisters coming in for beautiful harmonies. Love it.

Ok, three…Sharks is a primal experience that makes my damn heart race. I saw them at Riotfest in Chicago last month, and Dany’s guitar fell out of tune during Sick. She retuned it while singing the verse and I don’t think anyone even noticed. You can see it in the video. I have been playing guitar for 35 years and I have never seen anything like it.

I always have to leave more than one comment….they are all awesome musicians and performers, but Pau is the physical embodiment of music.

They give me freakin chills every time I see them. I’ve seen every song over and over again and it never gets old.
