A ~4 mile out-and back trail that meanders through a rainforest of giant firs, hemlocks and cedars. The trail (starting/parking at the Mount Baker Highway) follows the North Fork of the Nooksack River, originating at the glaciers of Mount Shukan.

what is the name of the mushroom you picked at 21:00? was that blueberries that you picked just before?
The type of mushroom is called "Eierschwammerl" in Austria because of the color, "Pfifferling" in German and chanterelle in Lat. The blueberries picked are locally called "Schwarzbeeren" or "Heidelbeeren" but are the only type of blueberries found in the eastern parts of the alps.

I am first hiking this trail. I love it and have a wonderful as company, the trip became easy and happy 😊.
I went there more often than other area. There are tall tree make a natural shadow, breathe fresh air. It is a good spot and a easy to walk through the forest. The whole time might be 45mins to a hour. I love this area. Thanks for sharing.
