Only just seen this, like you I am a hobbyist. Especially looking forward to your updates in April and May, guess you will be busy with swarm control. Been doing my bees now for just a bit longer than you😅 had lots of ups and downs, I like to think that I am getting better at it as each year passes, but then the bees spin me back to reality. Still enjoying it which is the main thing.

My uncle has been a bee keeper for 20+ years. There is nothing better than real honey 🍯 from real bees that you’ve made yourself. Sadly traditions like these are becoming less and less common today.
