Easy BBQ lamb
Have a smoker and want to try some lamb? It couldn't be easier. Here is a recipe for some traditional Greek style lamb. Lamb has been quit expensive recently, at £15/kg for leg (get the upper part of the leg if you are getting a half piece, like in this video). Place on a hot flaming grill and turn frequently till browned all over. Place in a foil tin on some baking paper. Season with lemon juice, rosemary salt and pepper. Add celery and garlic a small glass of water in the tin at this point. Wrap in a good deal of foil and place in the BBQ for a minimum of 3 hours at 150 Celsius. When you open the foil wrap, season with more salt, pepper and lemon juice and enjoy. For a cheaper alternative see my pulled pork ua-cam.com/video/uHBIlnGp5s4/v-deo.htmlsi=8Vu4f5pn40osRxZ7

3 easy Greek dishes to get you started. The combo meatballs, oven baked potatoes, tzatziki is a sure winner, and super easy to put together. Looking for a Greek cookbook? I recommend* amzn.to/47ASmlV the 'bible' of Greek food, and what most of my recipes are based on. For the meatballs: Mash a crust-less loaf of brown bread with two cups of water, till you get a smooth mix. Add an egg, garlic, ...

Have a BBQ and want to try some easy chicken? It couldn't be easier. Here is a recipe for some traditional Greek style grilled chicken. I like the corn-fed chickens, which are not as expensive as full-free range, but are better than the fully caged ones. Cut the chicken along the breast plate and open up. Season with rosemary salt and ground pepper all over. Place on a hot (but not flaming) gri...

Have a smoker and want to try some BBQ beef? Everyone loves the idea of brisket, but it is too expensive a cut, and not easy to get right. Here's an alternative that costs about £10/kg and makes a great meal. Choose a roasting beef side. These are meant to slow cook in the oven and have some decent marbling, but are not as rich as brisket. Cut off the strings (they are sold rolled) and open up....

Looks very dry…don’t know what I was expecting from such a lean cut though 😅
Tbf it does look dry, but it was super soft though and tender, so happy all around

Ain't no way bud need a knife to peel chestnuts 😂😂😂
IT'S NOT IMPORTANT...Coffee is just coffee 😂

could the semolina be swapped out for flour?
no, as the texture will be very different
Excellent walnut cake. I’ve made it many times while my sons were growing up.
Would be nice to understand what your saying.
You can find a slower (and easier to follow) version of this recipe on ua-cam.com/video/riOsGJqf7jQ/v-deo.htmlsi=bla1akMvLkt9hGRu

Μπράβο Γιάγκο, είσαι τέλειος!!!😊
the worst fish ever.
What do u mean cook for another 10 min, how? What method
Once the water evaporates, leave in the pan for another 10'
Thank you 🙏 delicious
My pleasure 😊
When coffee came over from Ethiopia with Beduins, i guess there were no greeks around 😂
This is Turkish ....Greek coffee got milk
Doesn't work that easy. The slits are not enough to adequately peel it. And 10 minutes more, how?
When it is cooked the skin of the chestnut comes of easily
They don't boil the peel is very hard
Did you try my technique and it didn't work for you?
Can u eat the fury second skin
It is unpleasant, so it should be removed
U need to drain the fat broo
This is 5% fat meat, therefore, not much fat to drain.
Greek bolognese 😂😂😂😂😂 yaw he he 😂😂😂
That seems to be a lot of coffee for a little cup!
only way to stay awake ;)
@@cookingwithioannis Really? I heard this type of coffee has a low amount of caffeine in comparison to the others.
Apetizing
Enit though what kind of recipe sorry video maker but watch the Africans do it first
I do agree with you on that one...
You have to remove that black section along the backbone once you've removed the guts. Otherwise, this will taint the meat flavor. Scrape out with a spoon until all blackness is removed.
I normally do, there wasn't much stomach lining in these ones
Will try this tomorrow 😊
Did it work?
As a greek person i can say this coffee started from Turkey
Turkish
I'll have to try this. My grandparents are from greece and my g'mother, mom, aunts all make something like this called skordalia(I think). Its is the best thing in the world to eat with fried fish. It's creamier than this and sometimes(if my aunt made it) it would have a greenish tint to it from all the garlic. It's one of my fav Greek foods. I'll have to try this.
yes, this is skordalia. It is the potato version, you can also make it with walnuts and bread. What you mention sounds like the bread one.
The intro art 💯
those look so good
Delicious

Awesome! I’ve always wanted to ask if you’d do an Asian Greek fusion of some dishes. I don’t have the leaves or else I’d try it.
