That is not a bad little tool IMO. It looks nice and solid with the 3 point grip on the rim - the hooks look rubber coated, are they? Big advantage is getting the wheel off the floor so you're not groveling on the ground. I for one can't do that any more. One mod I've found handy with the bead breaker is a bungee cord around the pivot tube. With it low, it keeps the whole thing in while moving the tool around the shed. With it above the pivot, it helps holds the lever arm up while you are rotating the wheel around. Here's an example video... ua-cam.com/video/gGv5MUxbQ3c/v-deo.html Definitely use the mat and wood block to protect the rim from scratches and the disc from getting bent I have a "yellow thing" tool that works on bike rims without having to screw down clamps that take time to remove and get in the way. I saw in the comments a remark about using a "duck head". They do work and if you want to try one I recommend the rabaconda duck head as it is designed for bike tires. Car styled ones stretch the bead too much. I have the proworks tyre changer. So simple to use, and a lot less piss arsing about than that one. Lot quicker as well, once you’ve done it a few times.

The stock images for this changer show the rim clamps on backwards more often than not.

You would be better with the type with the duckhead pal you could make an attachment from steel box section

I bought my constands tyre changer from motea its gorgeous arrived quick and i paid £148 so i should have paid 20%vat plus %3.5% customs duty. Due to price been over £135 but motea invoiced it as euros so £148 euros so no customs charges at all
