No no! You don't have to put down your opinion when it comes to classifying what complextro is! It is true complextro is harsher production wise. To me, it comes down to the glitch of synths and breaks within the tracks that makes me go "oh fuck yeah that's some good complextro". I've seen complextro and electro house be used interchangeably (maybe I'm wrong lol). And to be fair... WHENEVER I SEE ELECTRO HOUSE MIXES ITS ALWAYS BIGROOM MIX WITH PROGRESSIVE AAAHHHHH

@irakumusic oh yeah, i definitely feel you😅 personally i wouldn't use electro house and complextro interchangeably since they were divided as subgenres for a reason lol. Although, there is not much differences between them in terms of sound. It's like hardcore and hard techno, very similar. But again, to me complextro is audibly harsher and more aggressive. For example, "Illmerica" by Wolfgang Gartner is way too soft to be called complextro, but "Kill Everybody" by Skrill reaches that certain threshold

@@irakumusic Actually, I genuinely believe that the true complextro is kind of dead. Don't get me wrong, but I think the death of complextro was caused by pairing it with electro house in the same mixes, as well as people thinking about the glitches, rather than actually breaking time signatures in a strategic way, and to be honest, true complextro is insanely hard to produce, till the mindset clicks in, which may take months or ages to do so. It's not so much about sounds following each other, but rather helping each other to cause a controlled chaos, even if it's minimal... But eh, who cares? I just miss it, as it's still dead :p
