Devil’s Postpile

4 day overnight kayaking trip down one of the most committing rivers in the United States. The Devils Postpile throws everything at you. Every drop is trying to kill you out there. From the 2 footers to the biggest drops, the gorges are locked in and once you drop in you must run numerous rapids with no chance of scouting. Would never recommend anyone show themselves down this river. A guide wi...

niceeeeee!!!!
impressive
After finally visiting high falls and seeing this beast of a drop with a 15ft wide shallow pool at the bottom along with numerous hazards everywhere that could cause a serious piton, not including the boulders surrounding it. Mad respect for the send. When your boat angled right what were your thoughts on how you visualized your line vs how it handled through the drop as you miss the bottom corner shelf. It looked to me as the speed increases on this bottom shelf angle the more the boat edges into that direction it is angled, not really sure though. The variables are immense on this one.
