Highest Point in Missouri (Mina Sauk Falls Trail)
We did this quick hike and then came back the following day to do the Mina Sauk Falls Trial.
This is a fully accessible trial that anyone can hike. As you can tell it takes about 5 minutes or so to reach the highest point in Missouri.
The gravel off shoot is where the Mina Sauk Falls Trail begins. It was a phenomenal hike!
It is a loop trail but you can head to the bottom of the falls where the trail continues and eventually connects to Johnson Shut-Ins via the Ozark Trail!
I am trying to dig up the video of Mina Sauk Falls Trail, which is Missouri's tallest waterfall.

Getting Lost in a Nature Preserve (Trails not Marked Well)

Hello and welcome to another episode of On The Right Trail! I was FINALLY able to recover the video from one of my first hikes here in Florida after I moved. My old computer was on its way out and it took 2 memory cards with it. Enjoy me forgetting my phone and using my watch to navigate me around poorly marked trails trying to look for a primitive campsite!

Central Florida Nature Preserves & Primitive Camping

Quick day trip to a local Nature Preserve in Central Florida that has a few primitive camp sites. A nice relaxing Sunday to relax in a hammock for a few hours and to get some trail miles in! It was awesome! I'd like to go back and hike the second trail as soon as it cools off.
Would it be safer to a propane setup or electricity for cooking
Inside the rig, I would use an induction cooker.. I personally try not and use the other methods inside the rig, but I will use them outside the rig.. people use both inside, but for safety reasons I try to avoid it

I always take photos on my phone at all crossroads so that if I get lost I have pics of the crossroads to find my way back. If I am unsure on a trail I always head back to the trailhead to avoid getting lost..always go with your gut feeling, Also if your unsure on a trail grab some sticks and make and arrow pointing the direction back to the trail. Nice spacious campsite you found,
The trails in the preserve were easy to follow, just not well marked. Once I got the map on my watch, I was good to go! I have been back several times now, and it is by far my favorite place to hike in the area.
I do alot of hiking, I haven't been to Triple Creek Preserve yet, I'll have to check it out. Thank You.

It was a great, quick hike! There are 4 nature preserves, all with 10 miles of this one!
Why not take out 2nd row seats too? Just bought one and not sure what to do with it 😂
I don't know about him or others but I keep the 2nd row for seating because I have a family and kids
, that is good , you could also put a roof tent on your rig for you and the wife and let the kids sleep in the back of the rig

Where would you put a buddy heater in there that is safe? I have basically the same car (an Escalade ESV) and plan to do some camping in it but I am a wimp when it comes to cold.
I had removed one of the captains chairs at one time and had a metal table in its place. The little buddy heater I had was the small round one.
I wouldn't use a buddy heater inside a vehicle.. not only dangerous, but to small a space

It was hit on the passenger rear door and right rear wheel. Ran and drove perfect. Bought it at an insurance auction! One owner too!
