2018 Steam Plough Club 'Great Challenge' steam ploughing match
A ploughing competition for two engine cable ploughing teams, the 'Great Challenge' is organised by the Steam Plough Club. 23 engines took part in the match and this is a short sequence of clips from the 90 minute DVD produced by Avalon Video. The DVD can be purchased at www.avalonvideo.co.uk

The ex RFA SS 'Freshspring' was moved from Newnham on the river severn to Bideford - via Sharpness dry dock in 2016. I’ve been here before
I saw her leave Sharpness that day in 2016 and have caught up with her several times since when passing Bideford. Pleased this important bit of maritime/industrial heritage is being saved and hope to get a trip on her one day when the work is complete.
