This is a great Corvette. Prefer this survivor condition versus a restored car. Thanks for video
You also have to make sure the bird cages are not rusted out.
Wrong wheels
It's a dessert and a floor wax.
From the archives...
The man, the myth, the legend.
I truly enjoyed filming this one, so much fun.
Scags needs his own talk show
The rainman of Corvette facts
SCAGS RULES!!!
That sure is one fine looking rottweiler
Go Sira!
I love Scags!!!
SCAGS IS DA BOMB
THE nicest body style to date, I had a 73 350ci, Muncie 4 speed Coup, I look down on an automatic in a vintage Vette, but 2:49 thats narrow minded of me, do you like the auto driving experience in that car?
Yes, torque galore, I prefer 6spd in newer vettes
@@donaldscaglione8983 fair enough

Fun video to watch. You remember is all with joy
Yes, making memories
Scags needs his own talk show!
You forgot to mention the rust on frames which is the biggest problem on C-3
You are correct, I will mention in future videos
So long as it will slow done to dodge your good, gas on it
Nice! More vids please.
thx 4 the tips
cool... hv fun!
stop yelling
Nice car, but don't you mind that the interior is getting wet?
No, it's just a driver
@@donaldscaglione8983 Yeah, just a driver... but all of the wiring in the interior will be exposed to that moisture, including the fuse box. It only takes a little bit to start corrosion and then you've got an electrical nightmare. The garage is RIGHT THERE...
Yo Mr. Scag. Is your Z06 the one with the 3LZ package? I ask because the one I purchased doesn't have the front splitter and I want to know if it is supposed to or not.
Yes 3lz, yours should have the front splitter
Sorry, I don’t agree with some of this. Mecum recently reported how restomods are bringing in more money than period correct cars. You don’t have to have a NCRS judged car for it to be valuable. I recently went from a 76’ to a 72’. I’m going to drive it as is for a year or two but after that I’ll probably restomod it. I’m gonna leave it carbureted but replace the base 350 and put in a small block 427, don’t want the weight of a big block in my front end. My .02.
You own an awesome 72 and you're thinking of " creating sacrilege" by restomoding it??? I own a 72 convertable and cost me over $ 100K in purchase and restoration !!! resto- mods are a passing fad but original is the future of C-3
Man you have one of the best looking cars, I say top ten American cars ever made 👍🇺🇸
Thankyou my friend
@@donaldscaglione8983 It's true 🇺🇸👍
On my way to TX from CA to pick up a Centennial Z06; next Saturday.
Congratulations! Enjoy your collectable

Gonna do a video on hidden value in the c3. Thanks Russ
Seat belts became mandatory on all U.S. made cars in 1968.
Lap belts yes, shoulder belts no
I was just thinking I need to check in with scags, and here you are.
You're awesome Cole, have I told you that lately?
the cobra killer
Scags, his is great!! Terrific show
Thankyou Katharine!!
love learning about all this stuff, need to get some of those books
I really do appreciate you watching my videos Cole, thanks again!
good stuff
Thankyou Cole I appreciate your support!
Sorry was saying buy in the hold segment for a bit there, thanks for your patience.
I hear the vette got kicked out of scca? so they created the corvette challenge. cant believe I didn't know about the zr2. good video
You are right my friend, and the zr2 is a rare one indeed
@@donaldscaglione8983 found it funny that the c4 gets so much hate but had to be in a class of its own.
@@colemcmeans7809 a challenge racecar is high up on my wishlist. One for sale in Connecticut in as raced condition like a 30 year old time capsule
@@donaldscaglione8983 what kinda price is that car at?
@@colemcmeans7809 advertised at 49000, saw it at a high end car show this summer for 40000. It was owned by Mike Yeager of mid America corvette
good video, I forgot about some of these cars. have a 68 convertible l-89 I think 390 hp 4 speed car have a hardtop as well needs a good amount of restoration, one day ill be able to get her back out there. engine has been built years ago now but around 500 crank, shakes the damn drywall texture off the ceiling.
That's a keeper Cole definitely worth restoring
Damn good looking line up there
Thankyou Cole! Gonna do a video on million dollar vettes this week so stay tuned!
Happy Thanksgiving Scags, Marilyn and Donnie Jr.
You to Billy and Linda, enjoy the holiday and the weekend!!
Scags congratulations on your first 600 viewed video!
Thankyou Billy and Linda, it was definitely the car, that's for sure, can't wait for the follow up video next year!! Cheers to your 60th anniversary Grand Sport!!
Same problems down south here, lil bastards like getting on top of the engine and they bring their acorns with em. Need more cats...
It's definitely a battle Cole, keep fighting!!
Yeah Donnie! Nice vid. Thanks for the plug!
You bet Dominic I appreciate your business all these years
Cool channel, just subbed! You could use smzeus . c o m to promote your channel!
Thankyou!! You're awesome for enjoying my channel!! I will definitely look into your suggestion, and thanks again
Think I replied, oh well, if I didn't, thanks again!
Starting them every week is not smart. Just fills the engine, oil and exhaust with moisture.
Thanks Josh, I appreciate your advice. Maybe I will rethink my routine.
Scgas nails it!
Scags at his best!
Marilyn Scaglione yes he is! Scags really knows his Corvettes!
Zr1 from 90 to 95 wow, snoozing at the wheel
Also, no stingray in 68
