What stops your artificial lens from floating out of place?

If FLACS is used for the surgery of posterior polar cataract, does it also help in safer removal of last epinuclear plate which is stuck to the posterior capsule ? If yes, how ?

@@brendatomlinson As you can see in the video, there are some strands of collegen & protein tissue that end up floating around inside the eye. A minor annoyance. They are not dangerous and will eventually go away. My doctor advised me to try AREDS vitamins to help them dissolve a bit faster. I strated using them about a week ago.So far, so good.

Nice demonstration, but not realistic. The leading haptic is coming out of an opening in the iris while trying to thread it in the needle. Then the video cuts off and magically the haptic is in proper position in scleral wall. This is not the way it works in real eye.

Fascinating video of the surgery I had earlier this year. Is there sound? I'm unable to hear any description, but watching 2 or 3 x's gives a pretty good understanding from a patient viewpoint. Thank you for this. x
