Here's a tip to keep you out of trouble. Use NGK U5001 ignition coils (those with a metal part), which are better designed than BERU coils or equivalent, and also apply grease (Beru ZKF**, or Fluostar 2L**, not silicone grease!!!) to the upper seal of the coil to facilitate installation and improve sealing. **The same grease as for the porcelain part of the spark plugs, as it won't damage the silicone rubber !! Remove the ignition coils, check, and re-apply grease before reassembly every 2 or 3 years to make sure there's no water in the spark plug wells.

Not like that. Fold the corners across outside the cockpit not inside. Fold down the line between the windows then roll everything into the cockpit. You never want to put a crease across the window itself.

Interesting video! I think you were travelling on motorway's in this video, were you driving at 70mph? I think getting mid 60s to the gallon is very respectable in a carburetted car, I have a Toyota aygo and thst can do mid 60s on a mtorway cruise and thst has electronic fuel injection but i suspect your kia weighs less than the aygo?

I remember in the 1960s two guys where I worked had Lotus 7s and they used them as daily drivers and NEVER had a roof on the car even in winter. They did not have carpets, only aluminium floors. Many enthusiasts of Midgets say "throw the roof away" just use the tonneau cover.

Hey everyone!! I need your help ! I have found a Twingo RS 2011 with 30K km on the clock, and full service history. I really think of buying it but I am unsure about their reliability. How reliable are these cars? Any known problems/issues ?

The S is a lovely car. Great shape, decent reliability. I owned Psychobert’s grey de-catted Blue Flame S3c before him in case you have heard about it on TVR forums. World’s loudest street legal exhaust (probably). Serious fun and loud as hell.

I love the S. Its like you say a proper sports car. Id add its analogue so much more raw and engaging. Very fun without speeding. I have a Chimaera. I saw a vixen recently they are very cool.

What an awful concept surely everyone knows the best place to put the hood up....Is to store up in the loft at least with Midgets. As a friend of mine said when we did 5000 miles in the states in his 73, the long skinny pedal on the right is designed to keep rain out Johnny

Sir as an owner of 2 roadsters both notchback and coupe, and later fortwos i am considering this car now and i am a bit scared of french reliability. I am very happy you compared them and chose this car. I would like to buy one very soon as i am selling my 451. I owned Abarth and the cost of new clutch and turbo was too much to me. I hope this car is the best of all of those. :)

I have been trying to get my series II started abd thought it would pull the fuel though with a bit of gas down the carb (which it does run-for a few seconds- but thanks, I was about to replace the pump.
