I’m not surprised about the modern North American CB&Q E5 #9911 then matched Nebraska Zephyr passenger train.

So back in 1990, when this first aired, a friend of mine and I caught it on PBS (I think out of Burlington, Vermont) and were completely OBSESSED by it for ages, we got ourselves blank VHS tapes hoping that it would be reshown later in the season as PBS often did back then, but no luck. THANK YOU so much for having had your VHS tape ready to go, because when I stumbled across this looking for a version of Welcome To My Fog to share with a friend, I stumbled over your video here and it's put an end to a 34 year search that I gave up on a LONG time ago. Thanks! 😁

I swear nobody ever films the railroad crossing signals here, which is a damn shame because they have some unique signals, and there’s one that was here at some point, and was probably the last of its kind operating, but disappeared at some point and hasn’t been heard from again
