I know this is an older video; but I'm sorry you had to go thru this:( You were so young; & it is strange so many new mothers are going thru this! I'm in my 60's & just had mine out a few months ago - worst decision of my life!! My ocassional attacks were nothing compared to this everyday nightmare I'm living now. You're right; the docs just say you can eat normally:/

I'm eating normal 8 days out of surgery. I kept it slow with only soups with mashed pumpkin, rice, and chicken the first 3 days. Now I feel renewed and digest food better. I think I had sludge and there wasnt even bile flow.

Been having issues since after 1st baby over 8 years ago. I've had 4 more babies since then. This pregnancy I was diagnosed with gallstones and sludge at 10 weeks pregnant after nearly dying from an infection. I had no idea I had this issue but it all began to add up, the agonising pain worse than childbirth after a fatty meal, needing to travel by ambulance, thinking I was having a heart attack. Now they want to remove the gallbladder after I give birth to this baby. Being pregnant on a low fat diet has been horrendous. I don't want the surgery, I worry about the side effects of removing it. However, I over did it on a roast chicken a few weeks ago and had a flare up which confirmed that this issue has gotten worse! I would only have an attack once a year maximum after I had my first child. Since getting infected and diagnosed I have flare ups and diarrhoea everytime I eat something even a little over 5g of fat. 😢 Don't know what to do. Also afraid of cleanses because of the risk of those. It's not that I want to eat fat, I admire the changes in my diet, but I'd love to enjoy something fatty every now and again.

slowly cut down then change ingredients in this order sugar -> honey -> stevia -> nothing creamer -> milk -> oat/almond milk -> nothing = black. the bitterness doesnt last too long the only negative about black coffee is the teeth staining's a bit worse. use a straw or be mindful when sipping, if you care about that stuff

I just had mine removed today . I had a consultation with my surgeon on Wednesday and she told me all my possible side effects and what could and couldn’t happen . I’m at a higher risk just because of other health risks . But she also said I know a lot of people who would try to get rid of gallstones by themselves whether it was bile salts or other things and she said I haven’t seen much luck of that work . She said my first month I’ll probabaly have loose stools but it should go away after the first month . But she also said since I do have other health issues I could be one of those rare people that have diarrhea after I eat chronic diarrhea and there’s really no real way of her knowing . She said most people can eat how they would eat before hand but she also said some people have to cut out or really back down on fats and some dairies and what not . I know several people , my cousin, my buddy of mine that had it removed and they are fine . They are some fatty stuff they can’t eat but they just typically go to the bathroom right after they eat . But I’d rather have some bathroom lose stools than the crazy pain and nausea and all that . I’m hoping I can recover quick and not have any major side effects . I was happy with my surgeon who laid everything out and told me what the pros and cons were and she said if you’re having pain now that’s causing you not to eat much and lose weight she said most likely it wouldn’t get better and I would take it out but I’m not telling you in any way what to do . She just said from her experience it wouldn’t get better . And if it did it would be most likely short term and then I would have another flare up or attack and I don’t wanna live with the possibility of having that in the back of my mind that that could just happen anytime . I was told my recovery time would be probably a month and I would start to feel better and not have too much pain and uncomfortableness . She said everyone’s different some are good after a week and some need a few weeks . So I was glad she told me all the pros and cons .

4:57 see this doctor doesn't give a shit, he wants to make his house payment and go on a nice trip with his family which is what your surgery allowed him to do. These people are not caring people they don't get into medicine because they're altruistic saints, most people become doctors to get money.

Suffered my first attack in 2018. Just had mine removed Oct 8, 2023. The bills are now rolling in. I have great insurance too. The total charges were over $40,000. I'm paying just over $2400. I had my removal at Mayo Clinic. 2 weeks later, I'm still in pain...abdominal incision pain even though it was laparoscopic. The poop situation sucks. Never normal yet, either diarrhea or constipation. I'm also a side/belly sleeper and still have to sleep on my back. It's a drag, but I'm glad it's over...and it isn't getting any cheaper either!!

I feel your frustration and i agree. I had mine removed about 10 years ago and today I am going to the gastro doc bc of issues I've had the past year or more. My liver enzyme tests were elevated after removal, now they are high. I'm not an alcoholic. I have a feeling that these doctors don't see the issues that some of us have down the line and don't know about it. Or it's purely monetary. Surgery is big money and instead of handling therapeuticly.... I don't want to say I absolutely regret removal, but I regret not getting educated about it. And just taking the doctors word that nothing would change, I didn't need my gall bladder...

I am with you. I 100 percent regret it. I went to 3 different doctors and ask numerous friends and they all said have the surgery but I feel like I could have helped my situation. At least if you try first then you know but others say they have tried and still end up having surgery. I have heard very few that really fixed it.

  • @chrisandlarenajohnston7803

I am the same. I had my first baby and a month after I got my first gallbladder attack. I have had 20 attacks in the past 6 years but I have started a flush and it has helped massively. but women ger them after childbirth because of the massive hormonal spike of if you had any help for fertility. I am still working on keeping my gallbladder. but yes...the attacks are worse than childbirth and I had no meds... I have found the "AmAzing Gallbladder Flush" as a massive help to me!!

Hi I wanted to address the pregnancy in gold blotter one of the main things that causes call bladder disease is high estrogen levels estrogen levels turn on quarters all quarters all's high stress. I also want it to address one of the ladies by the name of Brown that was talking about being allergic to seeds before she had her surgery my niece who had hers several years ago says that she cannot eat strawberry seeds or raspberry seeds or any kind of seeds are even cucumbersates anymore since she's had her surgery so I think that maybe it was something from the surgery itself. A lot of people think that it's genetic like my mom owns it my sister owns it my daughter owns it I have it My son has it my niece has it I have itMy son has it my niece has it I have it. I think we might just all eat a light coming from the same family.

Well, I've struggled with my gallbladder since my teens, but had a massive attack last night and I really just want it removed now. I've never been in so much agony in my life. The only thing that comes close to it was the time I likely had a diverticulitis attack my freshman year of college, it was really bad but at least I didn't fear I was having a heart attack.

My crash happened last month after an extended hypomanic episode which was the longest I've experienced (I may have "crossed over" to full blown Manic Depression/Bipolar). At most extreme, I felt like I could face anything and could accomplish everything. I felt like there was pure energy radiating from me. I felt like I had reached some level of enlightenment. At the lowest of the hypomania, I was "elevated, but realistic" and welcomed challenges. Not now. The worst part of it is the lack of energy and lack of motivation. During past depressive episodes, I would turn to Cannabis for a boost, but since I will be on-boarding soon (transitioning from contractor to employee), I'm leaving the "Devil's Lettuce" alone. At least I know what's happening to me. I'll get through it. It just sucks.
