Springsteen is like an old-timey gospol religious experience, especially during this time period of his career. I've never experience The Boss live, but just listening to this is the closest thing I can get to. And it's still a religious experience! I drink my beer, crank the volume to the max 'till my appartment vibrates & rattles (and piss my neighbors intentionally), and I close my eyes. I close my eyes & I invision myself there near the front row watching The Boss preach the gosple of Rock & Roll. And you know what? I feel the spirit of music move through me. That music that echoes the greates of Buddy Holly, Springsteen, Queen, The Beatles & so, so many more. That musical spirit that inspires people. It inspires people to get off the ground and keep on living, like it's done for me so many times before in my 44 years of life on this planet. The suckers can keep their Bible and their god, and their religion. I'll keep my Springsteen (and so many countless others) to keep my faith & give me something to believe in!

Best Springsteen concert in Sweden ever, or nothing concerts 2nd and 3 rd of July 1988. Nothing even came close and I have seen Springsteen in Sweden every tour since 1981
