Cruising the Pacific on the Queen Elizabeth
Cruising the North Pacific Ocean from Tokyo, Japan to Vancouver on the Cunard Queen Elizabeth, May 20 thru June 11. With visits to Tokyo, Fuji, Aoromi, and Otaru, Japan, Kodiak, Seward, Hubbard Glacier, Icy Strait & Glacier Bay, Alaska and Victoria, Canada.
We had a great time on a very different kind of ship than we usually cruise on. This cruise was very British and we loved it. Afternoon tea everyday a 3:00 p.m. Live music all over the ship using classical musicians, a string trio, 2 full jazz bands, a classical solo guitarist, saxophonist and flutist among many others. We had well attended Christian services every Sunday. It was an older crowd but we loved it. We crossed the International Date Line on May the 31st. We crossed the Line during the night, so I didn't see the line.🙂 We woke up the next day to repeat the 31st. Two Fridays in one week. We were surprised to find that we were upgraded to a Club Balcony room for free when we boarded which came with many extras! We got to visit our friend Risa & her Daughter Yurika while we were in Tokyo. It was so good to see Risa and meet her daughter after all these years.
The video is long (35 minutes) but it was fun putting it together over 1000 pics and videos. Fuji and Glacier Bay were my favorites but everywhere we visited had its own beauty. Enjoy!

Rejoice Ye Pure In Heart GBC Orchestra 2004
Переглядів 90Рік тому
"Rejoice Ye Pure In Heart" is a great old hymn of thanksgiving praise. The hymn was often used as a processional hymn for a choir entering the sanctuary. This arrangement gives a great feel of a march and festive processional. The videos and pics are from South America, the Caribbean and a Cathedral in Spain. The Hymn is by E. H. Plumptre (1865); The Hymn Tune "Marion" is by Arthur H. Messiter;...

This was the last God and Country Service I put together at GBC in 2006. You might recognize some of the folks in this video who look a lot younger (especially me) and some that are with the Lord today. Happy 4th of July.
Patagonia 2023

We moved to Florida 13 years ago and got a new doctor, Juan Rivera. Dr. Rivera, who we enjoy, had pictures on all the walls of his examination rooms pictures of Patagonia he had taken when he visited there. When we would go to the doctor Kayla would say "we have to go there . . . just look at those pictures." Finally after all these years, we made it to Patagonia! It was everything we hoped for...

"Coming Home" An Easter Passion Play
Переглядів 7412 роки тому
Coming Home is a Easter Passion Play set during the depression in Oklahoma. Presented by the Grace Baptist Church Choir, Orchestra and Drama Team in 2007. An unusual setting for an Easter play but one that I hope you can relate to. Hope you are blessed by the songs and the story this Easter.

This is The "Solovita Swing Band" that let's me play with them here in Solovita, Florida. I have a lot of fun playing my trombone with these guys and gals. The show also features a tribute to Micky Erbe a Canadian Grammy winner who played and arranged for the band in the past. Sadly he passed away this year, 2021.

"The Meaning of Life and Other Vanities"
I'll have to watch this later, but I just got back from Japan! We went to Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto. Such a great experience. I'll definitely go again! I may have 3000+ pictures and 35 hours of video footage to edit ... so look out for that in the next year :)
Looks like a fun trip, with plenty of memories made.
Such memories of the Sacrifice & the Glory! I so miss Ken's creativity!✝️❤️

Thank you Tim for allowing our family to be able to watch this after all these years. This is one of my favorite Passion plays, although we love all of them.

As we walked into the sanctuary at church, the morning after loosing my Precious Father in Love. The choir was singing the second verse of this song. It remains a favorite of mine, 41 years later. This is a beautiful rendition!
The sound doesn't work on here.
Amazing
The oceanic reindeer naturally miss because handsaw bailly appreciate midst a understood salmon. sordid, harmonious shake

@@bessieschaedel3890 No, I'm sorry, but I didn't go to Grace Baptist Church.
What a treasure she was.
Wonderful music, I remember this music so well. Play it every time I get an opportunity. So much talent. Linda Cameron
Thank you so much for bringing these fond memories of my Aunt Clara back to life for all to enjoy. May the LORD bless you and all who listen!
You are magical and magnificent. I could listen to you all day!!
Is this Grace Baptist Church in Redding California??
The music is great, but where is the picture?
This is wonderful! I especially loved "My Heart Belongs to You"--- I had only heard this before by Wintley Phillips and Larnelle Harris, here: ua-cam.com/video/tF6FE4zls0o/v-deo.html , and when that song first began here, I had walked away from the computer momentarily and hurried back, thinking I was hearing Wintley Phillips! This soloist--- I assume it's Steve Albritton?--- has an amazing voice, a true gift from God. I was puzzled by the names of the soloists in your description. There are 7 names but I see only 6 soloists. Is someone missing, or am I just not seeing the 7th person? Thanks for posting this!
beautiful
Thank You! And thank G-d that we are in the freest nation he ever created.
