I remember that I, my young brother and my younger cousin played Crash Bandicoot 2 during my childhood in the late 1990s. Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back was the very first Crash Bandicoot videogame (even though we skipped the first installment of Crash Bandicoot, which that game came out in September 9, 1996) that my young brother and I had when we were kids.
