For anyone else assembling a Lowrance Active target, use the small washers on the black box. Insert the screws from the black box side, or your're socket won't fit into the slot to tighten them up. I bought 3/4" screws to attach both the black box and the gimbal mount. You cant install the bolts this way on the bottom 2 mounting holes due to the battery placement. Hex head bolts or allen key would make this whole assembly much easier. A little R&D and field testing across platforms would go along way

Did you not have to put a fuse on the black box or the HDS unit?I know there is a fuse on the shuttle but is that sufficient for both the HDS unit and active target

What size Ram mount? Looks like 1.5” ball what about length?

Does the pole stay solid when you troll with it? That's the issue I have currently with my older style ram Mount summit boat mount

Any way to beef up the mount. There is alot of side to side movement and pressure on the splines. The pole, plate, transducer and ram arm is alot on the splines.

I installed a single switch into the face of the unit under the secondary button to activate the light when I wanted. That way i didn't have to leave the USB on or take up the extra master ports. Love your guys products! Keep up the GREAT WORK!!!

Can the docking system attach onto the gear track of a kayak?

Is there a spacer or wedge I could use to tilt the light down more? First time using the light tonight and even with the cover, the light was still blinding and had to be turned off
