whichever spring and tension you use it clunks on rebound .... very annoying
You just need rubber dampers for the metal to metal contacts but very good for gravel setups
@@iPtrckwhere to put the rubber, do i have to disassemble it?
@@Bartosz-m3dI'm not getting clunks on mine but you can just put silicon washers at the end of the springs. I'm loving mine on my cheap gravel bike
@@lamb212 Will try, thanks it is winter in Poland right now, it is cold so i don't really ride a bike a lot, but when it is warmer i will try😊
I put plumbing rubber washer below the screw that locks the chosen coloured spring. That has significantly reduce the clunking when it tops out. Happy now.

@26erchronicles77 I only have one ride on it, I want to try a few different springs,to see if I want it softer. But, it was smoother,than no suspension.

@@myboringadventures How is it going on for yours? Initially had used the blue spring. It functions well in terms of reducing handlebars jarring. However, I was annoyed by the knocking sound, and the loss of some steering control. After a number of experiments, I came to this solution as the best for me: - cover the red spring with heat-shrink tube, overlapping the springs top and bottom, coat it with grease - insert two rubber washers directly under the top hex key mounting plate and tighten only halfway to reduce pre-tension - lower the handlebars 2 - 3 cm to put more weight onto the front This reduced the knocking by 80% under maintaining full handlebar control and relevant jarring reduction. This product is a winner for its price, but best would be some silicon dampener at the deflection end.

I remember my moms best friends house had a coal furnace and i used to watch them prepare the furnace for a cycle and it was amazing but dirty wotk i was told

I have an emf w/ round door. Works prefect! Gotta love these old furnaces. Got mine on my thumbnail pic. Coal is still king to me. I used to watch it run for hours as a kid. Nice vid.!!!
I watched your video about the railroad police,and I could hear the furnace in the background. I was thinking EFM. For the little bit of extra work, you'll never beat a good coal stoker.

@mongess I honestly can't tell you the price. My parents had this unit installed in 1980 or so. Right when oil was going crazy. About 8 years ago the top half, boiler unit was replaced, and the oil conversion was added on. I think that was around $5000 complete. Haven't used the oil unit in 6 years or so.
How much did that boiler cost you? I was looking to switch to coal myself.
