Hola Ruth Thank you for all of your videos. I'm going to order your book today or maybe tomorrow well whenever it's payday I don't know what day it is. 🤭 I just graduated from Duolingo Spanish 2.1 this morning. But I think before I move on I'm going to go back and revisit all of your previous videos. There are a few things that I'm still confused about and I keep making mistakes. As an example I am confusing the Spanish words for this and that. I work as a flight attendant and learning Spanish even the basics of Spanish is very important to me. In addition I have been sending links to all of my friends and many of them are now practicing Spanish with me. It's pretty funny. 😂 🤣 😂 ... We say funny things to each other like oh my gosh I need unlimited hearts..❤❤❤❤❤ 😂 Anyhoo, once again thank you for everything that you're doing. FYI I might go to a restaurant this morning and ask for a cup of coffee with sugar and milk this morning .... In SPANISH 😨 🎉❤😂🎉😂❤🎉😂❤🎉😂❤

I like that Spain has an equivalent to "Y'all" because its weird to talk to a group and say "Ye hath been away a long time" and not "Y'all been gone a long time"

Saludos de Colombia. It's a good lesson and great content some of the pronunciations are slightly off: supermercado (stress on the CA, not PER), el hospital (la o sounds odd), ustedes (natural stress on TED, not U), clase (stress on CLA, not SE)

This is really cool! In my area, there are many Spanish speakers, but English dominates. So, my whole life I have heard and the way you are sneaking it into English sentences while speaking to me is just plugging in these familiar words into my brain and I am only 2 videos in!

Where in Duolingo do I find the 'words for tomorrow' (as you say at about 5.30 into the video), without opening another Duolingo lesson to find out what the words for the next day are? The days don't match if one does moe than one lesson in a day anyway.

I am tring to persevere with this video but the distracting background is really making it hard and stressing me out. I received the book yesterday and am trying to make use of this video to see how to use the book. But the distraction is too much!!! I assume that you still have the video file. Is it possible that you reupload it without the moveing background? If you do so, could you please send me a link. Thank you. I think what you are doing is great. It could be much more powerful without the disabling elements.

As an Autistic person (or simply a person with processing difficulties), I am being disabled by the movement in the bacground, behind the video which you have spent time creating. Thanks for the video but please consider not having movement n the background, if you really require a background.Also the transiion effects. I know some people think they are 'cool', but being exluded isn't cool! Inclusion is far cooler than unnecesarry effects. Thank you.
