does discus mess up you back too cuz i think it messed up mine a little

My coach used to say that if you throw the jav wrong it hurts your elbow; if you throw it right it hurts your back! But you can compress your lower back LESS if you lower your release in front by raising the back of your javelin. A more level throw is better for the back.

Theres a differemce between being taught by him and throwing with him.
