Great video! I noticed you change between having the body of the guitar on your left leg and then your right leg. Does this change for any reason or just a preference? I'm trying to learn guitar again and want to know how to sit with a guitar properly to play metal.

Thank you for clarifying this differentiation for the non palm muted part of the verse riff where Howard comes in with his vocals. I thought I was one of the very few that played it the way I HEAR it when I learned this song. I think I’m gonna do a cover on this now just because it was the first KsE song I learned through and through to a tee… the first track I learned and actually felt confident to play it aloud. The fact it’s also very simple played a big part in boosting my confidence. But again thanks for breaking it down and explaining how to play it as it should be heard!

Awesome video dude! just wondering when 41:00, when play the fifth string, how do you deal with the ringing sixth string(even it's palm muted it would still ring out just a bit)? should I mute it with my left hand thumb or should I keep my right hand palm on the sixth string, or should I use the tip of my left hand's index finger or middle finger to mute it?
