love this look! will say, for anyone looking to recreate it, look for a coat with a similar fabric weight and drape. i find that shopping with fabrics rather than colours in mind helps create sharper and cooler silhouettes more easily.

I was part of the Emo movement back in the 2000s and as a straight young man, I was always made fun of for wearing girl jeans (that I stole from my step-mom) and even though they were a little too big, they felt so right. After pants companies started making slimmer fits, I think that killed the men wearing girl jeans fad but I've always liked the way they looked aesthetically speaking.

I can agree with you on the more variety in the women's section. Every thrift store I go to there might be like five different pairs of jeans total in my waist size, but if I do the typical conversion, I can find a lot more in the women's section. Section.
