I was explaining to my wife why the floors were sticky in a restaurant she ate at. This takes me back to my wasted youth of being a late night Denny's waiter in Austin back in the 1990s. I remember telling customers, "hoods are being cleaned tonight, we're only able to serve salads, desserts and drinks..." Thank you for sharing your process...you guys have it perfected.

You can actually unscrew some pipes if need there is nothing in them until that line pops sometimes I will unscrew a pipe if it’s to low for the plastic to go under great job guys

If its type 2 duct like a bakery then yes, get a chimney sweaper and go that route!

Wtf?!?!?! Never scrap type 1 ductwork, elways spray it!

Use headlamps....

The chemical should eat the grease and liquify it preventing any cloging of draines..

Just let all the grease hit the floor, then spray the floor clean, got a lot of my business from word of mouth🙂

Wraping the hood doesnt allow you to be able to spray the back wall clean.

Or just remove the light bulbs...

The fire suppression nozzels can be cleaned roughly.

Been cleaning hoods for 20 years, and we clean the fire supression systom along with the pipes on each side.

Cold water machine really u look like u spend a lot of clothes safety equipment but then it looks like a Home Depot machine you won’t clean Chinnese grease with that

Also the hood has a orange deficiency sticker half peeled off you should pull the prior report and see what the deficiency was

Just stick a glove over the light bulb that’s uncovered

I was cleaning the inside of my vent a hood, particularly the area where the lights and switches are, more specifically, the right hand light. I sprayed the area with a degreaser and now neither the lights or the fan will turn on. Any thoughts?
