Music from this band is a constant personal discovery of mine. DSOTM had only just landed, so it's very interesting to hear Richard's comment about Roger's thoughts on 'guilt'.

I have this boxset in near mint condition. The pic discs are in mint condition.

I realize this is a 2+ year old posting, but I happen to have a sealed box of this set and am trying to identify if it contains the 130g LPs or the 180g versions. I'm having no luck with the internet using the bar code and spine data in identifying these. Have you, by chance, ever weighed the complete set? If so, I could compare that with the weight of mine(I'll have to fine a reasonably accurate scale, first). A 400g difference should be a pretty reliable indication of which ones are in my set. I'm trying to decide if I should hold this into retirement or sell it. I can't even find a value for a sealed set, but unsealed sets are going for $1,000+ these days. If mine is the more rare 130g option, I might be looking at something north of $1,500 or who knows how high it could go? I can find sealed versions of nearly every other PF release out there, but not for this one... Any info on the weight of your 130g set or anything else you may know on how else to reliably tag this as one or the other would be appreciated.

It must either be for the second leg of the tour as it includes shots from the first or it's a "forgery".

Do you want something to eat or drink. California ascent, i now know. No thanks, our parents told us hippie's will drug you! never take anything from strangers especially hippies. We was dressed in levis and t shirts, bloody soaked and freezing if it wasn't for her warmth. I looked at Cliton sitting between her friends legs also 17, and we both acknowledge we are out of here. Therefore we left before the Floyd. See poor council kids street wise, time to go. We walked back to Catford we had no money for the bus. Mountain was shit Rod Stewart was ace.

As I remember, it was a perfect sunny spring/ summer day, no bad weather at all. But I stand to be corrected ;-)

Unfortunately a lot of gigs are still the same as Roger describes. Most people are there for the beer (and cocaine these days) and make the gig a nightmare for the artists and the audience members who want to actually enjoy the music. Although I think it’s a phenomenon limited to certain countries. I saw Roger last year twice. Firstly in Milan where the crowd was respectful and sober and quiet. Then I saw him in Glasgow where the crowd was drunk, boorish and annoying beyond belief.

There is no denying that this is a GEM, I received mine yesterday i pre ordered it back in Feb and payed 54 dollar, I think this one has to stay unopened. I see this going up in value pretty quickly.

I help out at a record shop on weekends. Owner asked me if he should order an extra copy for me (he knows Floyd is my favorite band) LOL. I'll let you know when i get it and how much we are selling it for.

I hope they do that with the animals album in 4 years my favorite floyd album I would definitely purchase.

I'm higj as shit rigj now and OMG!! Guupray t the bassist's backing vocals complrment Gary Jemp's lead sings so good! I luke ynr OG 1967 b sise but I love how meaty and jyicy the fuitar sound is!! Five music heros honoring the rock legend of Syd ih such a freat fresh way that still payd a lot of respect to the OG syd!! Tysm to the saycerfyl if secrets!!!!

Rick was too close to those Syd Barrett albums and too much of a perfectionist suffering the frustration of working with an unbalanced Syd. He does acknowledge that the songs are great, but i LOVE the raw shakiness of the performances too!
