Wow! Where is this? Do you have the GPS coords?? Thanks! 👍
@@jimclark7233 hey! It's right outside of Pinedale. You turn onto Jackson Ave off of 191, the main road through Pinedale. That will turn into Willow Lake Rd. Follow it out to Soda Lake. Past that is also another beautiful area, Willow Lake. We have a video that shows more of both lakes if you didn't see already. Good luck! It was an amazing area! There were wild horses on one side of the lake that we watched every morning, and of course, lots of antelope!
@@NomadicTrio Hey, THANKS! Yeah, I've seen your video on Soda Lake and Willow Lake so that makes sense. I following these directions and put a couple of pins down. Thanks again, and happy trails!
How come you didn’t explain the process? That’s the most important part. My husband needs to know step by step. Your tutorial would have helped more had you explained that.
I have some friends staying there right now. We plan to come with them next year. Nice job on the video BTW. Quick question if you can tell me. Are golf carts allowed in the park? I plan on bringing mine because that's how I got to get around.
I did it yesterday 8/5/24 it was incredible. If we weren't leaving today I'd do it again. We went in a boat of 8 with the guide Delaney. She was outstanding, very knowledgeable about the river and area, and a true badass. If you want a little adventure definitely book the 8 person. It was my first time and I am hooked. I would recommend Dan Hansen WWR to the fullest.
@@francescoartusa9168 so happy to hear you enjoyed it!!! We can't wait to go back!
Glad I saw this before I even tried, I have one like that I wanted to put in my camper.😂
@@xXyrozex it'll work perfectly! Just grab the part and it'll make life so much easier haha! Good luck!
Wondered what that part was to connect the hoses!!!!
Thank you!!!!!!
Mine is just so wobbly
Just a word of advice. No tape is required for the threads on either connection as the seal is made with the rubber o ring. They actually advise not to use the tape as it lubricates the threads and can make it easier to over tighten and damage the rubber seal or break the plastic fittings.
Thank you sir
This Animal is Called Horned Lizard, i think it doesn't look like Ankylosaurus cause it don't have a Tail Club 😅
Thanks for the video - we are headed that way from TN in June. What time of year were you there? And what are you using now that FreeRoam isn't an option?
We were in Wyoming July through October! We hope you enjoy it! Will it be your first time? My husband is from WY, but it was my first true experience exploring it and I didn't want to leave! Such beautiful country! We haven't done much boondocking this year yet, so haven't decided what we will use to find the areas now.
Appreciate this vid! Exactly what I needed!
Exactly why we make them! So glad to hear it helped!!
Will you be back there for 2024 season?
We will not. We do plan to go back at some point, as it is an amazing state and area, but we are trying to see the whole country, and lots more to see!!
Really enjoyed the video…..including the wind! You ARE in Wyoming
So glad you enjoyed it! We spent a lot of time exploring Wyoming and loved every minute! I still have more videos I didn't get edited that I'll get up one day!
Did y’all record any of the remodel? Did yall have any tanks or outdoor kitchen that had to be taken out
Sadly this was at the beginning of our traveling days, as well as beginning of our UA-cam days, so it was not recorded. There was plumbing that ran under the bottom bunk, as well as the furnace, so we just made the bottom bunk the floor so nothing had to be removed. We added foam pieces on top of wood to make it a soft floor. We weren't ready to take that on at that point lol. No outdoor kitchen. It was a pretty simple remodel from bunks to infant/toddler room.
For future reference, those are bear boxes, not trash cans🥰 U pack out what you pack in! I really hate when we get somewhere and someone has left their trash in a bear box🤬
Thanks! We had figured it out eventually! Some places we've been boondocking give you trash cans, while some follow the pack out what you pack in rule. We hadn't seen ones like that, so it threw us off at first. We have sadly come across way too many places where people scatter their trash everywhere and it makes me sad at the lack of respect. Thanks for watching!
Does this work on a 2 hole?
It does! The fittings are all the same regardless. Ours was a 2 hole before we replaced it.
2 yrs after this video I thank you so much for setting me straight with what I needed to make this happen in my own RV. Went straight to H.D and found the brass fittings and with thread tape (white film for leak proof) and hand tighten only since Pex fitting is plastic I didn't use any wrenches to join. No leaks. Thanks again !
Woohoo! So glad this was helpful!!! You're so welcome!
awesome journey
We are so glad you enjoyed it! We really loved our time there!
SO FANTASTIC! Thank you. This is what I'm needing to get. I'm doing a redo of an RV I bought as it's going great. Lost my husband in Feb. I'm doing this on my own. 68 years old this month. Yikes. Can't wait for my kitchen to come together. it's almost there.
Aww good for you!!! I wish you all the best! If you need any other help, feel free to let you know! You've got this! 💙 What type of RV?
@@NomadicTrio Thank you for your response. It's a Class C 28". Even with a full bathtub! My husband and I had decided to sell our property and everything else and get an RV and live on the road. Making our lives easier. He passed before we got the RV. I decided that I can't take care of this property and everything on my own. So I'll live out our dream. I've been the charter bus and school bus driver so driving larger rigs is not an issue for me. Found a GEM of an RV on craigslist. It's a 2000 Thor/Chateau that looks like it's never been used. 32k miles on it is all. Engine is pristine. Looks brand new. New tires E450 V10. Only $16k! I've repainted entire inside ... white (like so many do). Took the dinette out and replacing with a 6ft long butcher block table. Need room for my ham radios. Took out upper cupboards in kitchen for more head space and to open it up. Am doing open shelving. Took over/range out cause I want to cut down the use of the propane (less having to fill it back up). Will use plug in burner. Took out the fan and that big box over the range and cut it down to ONLY leave the front control piece that has my switches showing levels in the tanks. That will go under an open shelf. Rebuilt the front face where oven was to be a cupboard for small appliances. The doors for that were from the above cabinets. They fit perfectly in this spot. Surprised I am able to do all this on my own. Now I have to tackle the new sink plumbing. I think I can do it. I have God on my side and things have been going well for me working through all of this. Took toilet out to cut down on having to dump tank. Will use compost toilet instead. It's me and my 6 cats. Yikes! (Sorry I spilled so much here but this is an exciting project for me and it keeps my mind busy so I'm not just sitting and bawling my eyes out, which I would be doing). I miss him so much. My best friend. God Bless you guys!! Oh ya... and flooring is next. I have 5 cases of the vinyl floor planks and the cutter for them. I also took out microwave and won't be putting that back in. Figured I'm on vacation the rest of my life. Why be in a hurry to cook something? Also heard they use a lot of power to use them.
@@kathyweber793 we loved reading about your journey and all you've done already! You've been busy!!! If you made it this far, the rest will be a piece of cake! Making it feel like home was my favorite part! We renovated/remodeled/fixed our first trailer almost from the ground up.. and learned a lot along the way! It isn't easy, but so worth it in the end! We are also fulltime and on our second trailer. Your husband would be so proud of you for continuing y'alls dream and working so hard to get there! When do you plan to hit the road? Maybe we will cross paths!
Pretty sure those boxes are bear proof food storage.
We figured they had something to do with bears. Thanks!!
Cattle guards are every one mile. Open range areas for cattle, they are released in certain areas to craze.
Thanks for watching!
Just got back from 11 days in Colorado and Wyoming in the Medicine Bow NF overlanding with a 4Runner with a rooftop tent. It was incredible. We used two or three apps to find ideal locations on public ground and were able to avoid people altogether. Amazing wildlife and experiences. Trading comfort for agility was a good trade, at least for the period of time we were out there, until you meet a moose at 3 am when you crawl down to take a leak.
Gotta love that curious wildlife LOL. Growing up in Wyoming I had quite a few encounters when crawling out of the tent.
Planning on going to vedauwoo for a couple weeks at the end of the month, would love to know this location
So theses are the coordinates from Google earth 41°12'34"N 105°19'33"W · 1.51 mi. It is located on happy jack rd on the right if you’re coming out of Cheyenne, on the left from Laramie. It is about 2.5 miles from the vedauwoo rd entrance on happy jack, and about 8.5 miles from the Sherman summit rest area. You can also get fresh water there at the rest area. If you need anymore help let us know. The exact spot that the coordinates are to does have a couple of tight turns due to rocks, so depending on the size of your rig you might want to pull up to the fist bend an walk it or have a spotter. We are about 51 feet total length truck and trailer, and made it just fine just keep an eye on your mirrors.
@@NomadicTrio thanks! Much appreciated!
@@jameslivingston7159 Enjoy!! By far one of our favorite spots!
@@NomadicTrio how was that spot for collecting firewood?
@@jameslivingston7159 it was so windy there that we didn't even get a chance to have a fire, so honestly I'm not even sure!
Just purchased this same trailer. The room with the bunk beds had been ripped out and only a sink left in bathroom. No fridge or dinette table either 🥴 but rest of the kitchen, living room and bedroom is all there lol this is super cute and def helping me with some ideas on what to do with ours 🤞
Good luck and have fun remodeling! If you have any questions, let us know! We have another video as well that shows the actual remodel before and after!
France denied permission to overfly their often overrun country. We should remember that.
Ty!!! After 2 trips to Home Depot looking and buying the incorrect part I had the genius idea to check UA-cam and found your video lol. Just wish it wasn’t $16!
So glad you found our video and that we were able to help!!
Is there a bathroom there?
That's a great question! I'm not positive, but fairly sure there is not.
The idea is good. But this is really UNSAFE. Children have been known to slip under that first pole- the one that comes off- they don’t slip out completely- but gotten their HEADS stuck- like their heads get stuck between the mattress and rail while their body is hanging from the bunk!!!!!!
Very helpful, thank you !
You're so welcome! Happy to help!
Which access is this? Because not everywhere on surf side you can camp
I don't remember the access point, but there's a big sign when you get to the sand. Sorry I can't be more helpful! We did confirm we were allowed to be out there for up to 14 days.
Amazing 😍
Thank you!
Wo so beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
It really was! Glad you enjoyed it!
Wonderful 👍🏻❤
Thanks for watching!
Just the video I need awesome job🎉
So glad it was helpful!
Wish he wrote a book.
We agree! He is such a great storyteller for sure! Thanks for watching!
I have to remember to season my griddle and cast iron. Oh interesting. I never thought to do the outside of the pan/ griddle.
Thanks for watching! I used to think it was too much work, but boy is it worth it to use cast iron!
@@NomadicTrio my son and daughter in law just got the same grill! I told them to watch your video and season it!
You guys are too funny! I have always wondered if you see a home shaking so you stay away? Lol I feel like everyone around you knows when your messing around!
🤣🤣 It doesn't actually shake, or enough to notice at least! Invest in great stabilizers 🤣 Are you still searching for an RV?
State park not BLM land. Yes it is nice.
This area is actually checker board blm, national forest, wildlife management area, and private land. Ther are no state parks around Pinedale unfortunately. Thanks for watching and commenting.
We love Pinedale. It and Lander are two of our favorite locations in Wyoming. We stayed at a National Forest Campground. I am trying to remember the campground, but it has just slipped my mind completely. Quite the herd of antelope. I remember the cows being in the road on the way to the campground. That's awesome to have a great signal. We had absolutely no signal when we were in Wyoming. I ended up spending 2 hours at the public library trying to load a video. 😂😂
The wildlife out there was amazing for sure! I'm still dreaming of being back! We love our internet setup! We very rarely find somewhere we can't pick up signal!
So excited to have found y’all! My kids actually spotted y’all at the campground you’re currently at, at least as of yesterday. They want to say hi, but will probably be too shy if they see y’all out and about. Haha! I’m loving y’all’s videos!
Awww what a sweet message! 😀 We are glad you found us too! Tell your kiddos we won't bite, so to say hi! We are taking off Saturday, so will be around a little longer, and likely taking advantage of this beautiful weather outside! So glad you're enjoying the videos! I've been slacking with them since we've been here!
@@NomadicTrio it’s such a beautiful place! I’m sure it’s nice to just be in the moment and enjoy! Time for editing will come:) Safe and happy travels for the next adventure!
100%! I learned that over the summer and really slowed down to enjoy the moments myself! So sorry we didn't get a chance to meet!
@@NomadicTrio me too! Who knows, we may run into y’all again somewhere😂
Beautiful trip. Lol this guy today. You 2 crack me up. Those stairs are so cool. I have never been to Arkansas. I have a friend that lives there. I think it is time for a visit.
It is a beautiful state to explore for sure, and this town is one you can't miss!
Cast iron intimidates me. Thanks for making it look easy!
It always had me too, but once you learn it, you won't go back!
I love to cook but there is so much to learn! Within the last year I started using a cast iron skillet and had to read about seasoning that! This one seems pretty easy as well.
Cast iron can be so confusing, but it is a game changer! The griddle is so easy once you do the initial season. We love it!
What a great looking griddle! The little calzones looked really yummy! I could see my husband enjoying cooking on this!
We love our Blackstone! After the initial seasoning, it's so easy to use and care for!
You guys are just so funny! I always wondered how the bathroom situation worked. Now I know!
Haha the secrets have been shared!
I love the honesty here. I'd love to be able to clean my house in 15 minutes!
We had fun putting this together! Cleaning a big house is something I definitely don't miss!
Haha!! This is great. So true!! My truck costs as much as my house (or more) lol. Poo hose life!!
🤣🤣 What's something you would add??
I've only briefly traveled through, am yet to explore it but it looks like a good place for possible trail hiking. How's the feeling of this particular area?
Yes! It's such a unique town with so much to see! When I searched for things to do, so much hiking popped up!
