A Homily for First Advent that leads us upward...thank you Msgr God bless you 🔥

Thank you, Father. Very helpful homily. 1) Never knew Advent as preparation for the second coming. Thought it was to soften and swell our hearts over the miraculous gift of Redemption. Mainly, a season of remembrance to deepen our faith. 2) I’ve been reflecting on Jesus’ saying that we will assuredly “be salted w fire.” Well, yes, salt flavors and cleanses, but it also scours and hurts! So there’s a little trepidation in those words. But your addition that if our hearts are already afire, the divine fire will be mighty, but also more anticipated was great. What small flame wouldn’t welcome consummate in a holy fire. Thank you for that. 3) Maxims are good for sinking deeply: “don’t major in the minors.” Don’t turn advent into a season for shopping.” This advice can center me in peace and prayer first and foremost. Bless you!

They are so wonderful: deep and full wisdom, while at the same time they contain a real message for our heart to ponder and meditate about for the rest of our day. Your homilies really speak to my heart. Thank you so much for sharing this with us! I'm a Jewish Christian (I just entered the Church a year ago) from Israel. I would really appreciate it you would be able to keep the Jewish people in your prayers: that Jesus will remove the veil from their eyes and that He will be able to enter their hearts.🙏🙏

And people stay in the spectacle and place their hopes in who's the winner in the bread and circus games. It will surely pass away like corinth, but hopefully their souls don't pay for their consent

This is wonderful confirmation for me..I'm approaching Advent as a penitential and preparatory season, and one thing on my heart was to give up alcohol and seek temperance as a virtue. This will be a challenge for me, but your beautiful message today confirms for me this is where God is leading me to find and welcome Him in a deeper way this season 💕 Thank you!

Genesis 1 is ELOHIM (Lucifer and the fallen angels). They made this realm. They made man in their image. (tares) Man is an idol, a trap to hunt angels. Genesis 2:7 the Lord God forms His representative in their system. (wheat) One Gospel: Gospel (GOOD ANGEL) of Reconciliation. Jesus Christ came into THEIR kingdom to reconcile fallen angels unto Himself. We are the fallen angels (ELOHIM) kept in DNA chains of darkness. If you do not confess being a fallen angel in Lucifer's kingdom, then you are an unbeliever. Unbeliever = those that claim to be made in the image of ELOHIM(gods). REPENT FALLEN ANGELS.

I just went to the last Latin Mass at my parish, The Cathedral of St. Eugene in California. The announcement said: “The Vatican has ordered us to vacate the premises.” (exact words) They will move to the gym of the Cathedral school. I can’t even find words to say how heavy my heart and soul are.😭😭😭
