That’s so cute! I do think it would be better if you’re right-handed to put the pen on the left side. When you write, the pen holder wouldn’t be in the way. I do love this!

Instead of gluing, the flower to the jingle blocks, I would have probably used a screw in picture hook, which comes in those picture hanging kits from Dollar Tree. I feel like overtime that’s gonna fall off.

I just finished my first hanger using this method. Thank you. Now I'm going to try another method, which might be closer to what my Grandma did. She would get a kick out my being able to crochet as I was her youngest grandson. I remember her watching me in amazement as I folded clothes after washing them at Mom's on a weekend home from college, and she asked me, "Where did you learn to do that?" I answered, "Your daughter! As soon as I got old enough to learn to do something, she would teach me so she never had to do it again. I also know how to sew on buttons and sew small tears in my clothes! You need to ground her!" She was born in 1902 and lived on a farm most of her life so my willingness to learn stuff like this tickled her.

I like the way it turned out. I have tried painting stencils at Board and Brush and they bled. If you, the talented crafter, had problems with bleeding then I guess it's not easy.

I like it! You could use a roll of tissue paper . Take the core out of the middle and pull the tissue from there.

If you want the rope to look a little nicer where it meets in the back, you can either dab on mod podge and get it even/in a good position before it dries. Or, you can spray with hair spray once it's like you want it. Very cute and reminds me of what I had in mind for a round end table that I'm going to refinish. I'm using the brown/sepia English Toille transfer by IOD and a light brown on the table rim/edge and legs. It'll be white/offwhite under the transfer. ❤ your crafts
