How do you (David) think this will effect different price points? MOST of the time, a seller turns around & becomes a buyer so I’m not too sure where the savings is at. You still land up paying for services but a different point in the transaction but only after having to do even more paperwork.

There is really 1 thing you need to know. Don't move there. I grew up there. There are more reason to not move there than live there!

The whole new thing feels like a scam on the buyer's. I hope to see more people selling and buying By Owner. I hope this doesn't pan out. Bad for everyone.

Only thing I have to say is that traffic is either slow or very fast and there’s less weather when within what I call the omadome because not much weather happens in the omadome so about from Omaha to papillon maybe a bit less there’s some what less severe weather

The future of a more diverse Omaha looks very bright.. my daughter just graduated from Central high school which is ranked in the top 50 of most diverse schools in America with over 75 different languages spoken.. 😮.. go down to south Omaha on a Saturday night and you’ll find a food truck that represents a different Latino country of about every origin you can dream of..

Hubby and I often go to Louie’s Burger Lust, 18th and Vinton, for breakfast. Their green pork chili is awesome! 🤤 It comes on the Huevos Rancheros, or you can order it a la carte too. Hubby often gets country eggs Benedict. Good food there! 👍

A lot of homes in the 250k and up range will require another 50k to modernize it. Prices are highly inflated. We need a collapse in the market like 08 to bring prices and taxes down.

I never thought about all of these common sense stuff. Thanks. My daughter bought a house in Okla. City that was 20 years old & the sewer line clay and needed to put in a new one. Rotor-Rooter charged her $11,000. I thought it was $5,000 too high.

Three Happiness is for sure the best of the best! They do have sit down dining again now but it’s a smaller dining room than what it was before. Big Fred’s Pizza is better than Mama’s imo and La Casa, Don Carmelo’s, and Orsi’s are also really good. Stella’s is good but overrated. Dinker’s is better but it’s a cash only place.

Are their projections on home valuations due to projects like USA Volleyball and (hopefully) an NHL team over the next few years?

The Special Restaurant in Bellevue has the best chicken fried steak, hands down! I have eaten at a lot of breakfast places, and this place is one of my favorites, near the very top of my list. Everything is good! Very surprised it wasn't on this list.

Good Job highlighting the nit-picking negatives - Keep your 'clients' from California, New York, etc, where they are - we don't need them here. We've lived here for over 30 years, and wouldn't move anywhere else. See the positive comments below.

I've live in Omaha for 10 years. If you do a basic rent or house purchase search. You will see its pretty close in cost of living as most east coast cities. Salary wise is about the same as well. As far as quality of life. Well if you like cold weather roughly 8 months our of the year. I guess you could call the quality of life. There isn't much in this city to do at all. Once you've done what they do have to offer a few times your done. The roads are absolutely horrible. They do have good food and fairly cheap alcohol prices but its climbing. Flying in and out of Omaha is a pain. Not many direct connections at all. The biggest event in this city is the college world series. Most big name entertainers only come through on week days. The people are pretty nice but very ugly. Especially the women. If you choose to live in the country. Well the corn and bean fields are everywhere. Lots of cancer from pesticides and fertilizers crop dusting. The Missouri river is sh!t brown because of all the sewage that get dumped into it. Lot of foreigners also live here due to government shipping them in. If all that sounds good. Then by all means welcome to Nebraska.

1. Three happiness is by far the best chinese in the state. Great pic! 2. Losole mio was our families resteraunt and is no longer around, but there is a losole pizza place in benson now. 3. The drover is again, the best steak place in the state if you get the whiskey ribeye or whiskey fillet. 4. Alpine AGAIN is the best chicken place in the state, BRING THE KIDS. 5. Mamas and la casa is the best pizza. 6. Stellas sucks a bunch. Great video my man!

I just don’t understand why they system is making it even harder for a buyer. I’ve got a pre-approval, constantly look at at houses online and have need to a few open houses but haven’t started looking for an agent because of the NAR settlement.
