We had some lovely experiences in August and September - here’s a brief glimpse into just two of them, from Birmingham’s IKON gallery and Binham Priory in Norfolk

This structured improvisation came about as a result of Ellie telling Mendi about the noble deer in her local beauty spot, Burghley Park. Filmed live in concert in Lincoln Drill Hall early in 2018.

Mendi shows off his classical training and Tala Tarang explore the fusion of sounds made possible on the western concert harp, the tabla tarang and all of their varied influences from touring with Peter Gabriel and Pundit Shalil Shankar to listening to everything from Nirvana to Rodrigo y Gabriela.

This is a short improvisation based on an Indian tala, an African kora motif and a Nirvana bassline. Filmed live in concert in early 2018 by Dr Michael Addlesee.
