Towing a boat like that can kill someone. The strap in front is supposed to be under the winch, not over it, because if something happens, it will go over the top of the trailer, and into the vehicle pulling it.

Just because you can hook something to a vehicle, doesn't mean it can tow it. I saw an early 2000's vintage Blazer with a 26 foot travel trailer hooked to it. No weight distribution system or sway control. Looked like the rear of the Blazer was sitting on the axle. Dangerous for the people in the tow vehicle, even more dangerous for the other people on the same road. There is so much more to proper towing than hooking to the ball, connecting the chains, and connecting the lights. No sympathy when you're on the side of the road waiting to get towed to get that new transmission.
