It's a slightly pitched down segment of that soundtrack. Evil Dead 2013 has a lot of haunting pieces in its album and I won't spoil how the some of the other bits of it are utilized in the film, but it even gave me chills with how it makes the whole tone of the scenes a lot more intense. I will be releasing an album after the release of the Cut that has all the new mixes as well as the original versions of the new soundtracks/songs that are in the Fan Cut. The murders are intended to feel different than they did in the theatrical cut to make the focus on how people remembered the original being scary back in 1978 and bringing that to the modern generations.

@@tornadocohen I meant that the filming was too dark to see the detail of what was going on in the movie and the background. It was like the colour was over saturated and the darker scenes you couldn’t see what was going on.

@@PiperMackie I recommend turning up the brightness on the device or TV you're using. I've seen the film on multiple devices and the TV and could see what was going on. I like to always make sure my Cuts are good enough to be released. The fan cut is meant to look the way it does with the colors and brightness. Some people get it, some don't and that's okay. It's like with some movies that are meant to be darker than most brightly lit movies and sometimes that is the case. The brightness on your device is likely turned down too low for the movie to be visible for you. It's meant to be a dark-looking movie. Either way, thanks for pointing this out so hopefully others also know what to do in the future if this is the case for them.

I think he was actually after everyone. Annie just reminded him the most of his sister in a way, so killing her was very personal to him in recreating the moment between him and Judith completely into something even more gruesome than what he had done to his Sister. With him going after Laurie in comparison, he lures her by flickering the lights in the house so she's more interested in checking if they're alright.

@@misscandy84 My take on Halloween II takes everything a step further from the suspense to the kills while taking elements of the TV and Theatrical version and making the story completely make more sense emotionally and in pacing and development. Though I advise approaching it knowing it's going to be a much more disturbing take on the movie than the Theatrical release. I'm using the workprint version of the chase scene as well, but I think I can mix the audio of the scene you have with that version and then play the workprint audio in the right segments where The Shape Stalks Remix completely takes over. My studio cuts some of the soundtracks out perfectly, but that's not always the case. You'll be credited as a good friend.🎃 Edit: I personally find the Workprint scene to be a lot scarier as it makes it seem like Laurie is not going to outrun him in this movie.

It is in very early stages of Pre-Production as we've jotted down some ideas for where the story with George and Michael can go next . I can't guarantee it will happen yet, but I hope so too. 🎃

I remixed the instrumentals and mixed the different tracks together. It is the synth pitched upwards.

If the opportunity comes and there's a lot of scenes I can alter for the better, it will be done. I did however do a scene edit on Kills a while back that features Tyler Bates' music. 🎃

The way I see it, it's a remake. If it's not 1978 Michael Myers, he's a different version of the character and can maintain similar ideas mixed with different ones. It's really just a matter of preference and I prefer both the way they are. I also thought Ends was a badly developed and within the movie's story itself. It had too many plot holes for my taste and I don't consider that one a part of the franchise. If you don't like a character having different and unique ideas explored about him when you're leaning on the preference of the other whose ideas you already grown to love more about then it is simply not for you. And I can continue liking both versions for the way they are and why they are. Michael here is also definitely not the hero and nor did he fully redeem himself at all in the end of his story. The film's story in this Cut also doesn't glorify him as a serial killer, but instead shows how it is harder to reach out to a sociopath who needs help when they've pretty much already snapped and are further provoked by their environment. It is a cautionary tale not just in relation to us, the audience who'd never commit such an unspeakable act, but also the other type of audience who may in their own way see Michael as a hero until they're reminded in the movie that Michael has ruined his own life when he had committed his actions and has to take responsibility. That's what's happening in this very scene. It's not an heroic act, it's him finally accepting who he is and what he deserves.

@tornadocohen I respect what you're saying. I was thinking more of michael being a deranged unstoppable serial killer with no motive. But yeah I see what you mean though

@@filmfan2324 He doesn't have a motive for many of the murders committed throughout this movie as well. He's portrayed as a sadist who'd even kill someone who's his friend. The only exception being blood relative that speaks nicely to him and treats him as if he's loved. We're even introduced to him already killing animals. We may know why he did it as a way to cope through trauma through sadism, but it's an evil deed he's very well aware of. Edit: There's already a fan cut that does that as well to the point it's literally just a copy of Halloween 1978 with a modern vibe about it. I'm not copying that guy. This is going to be a much darker take on the movie that portrays Rob's ideas in a way that comes off more emotional and attempts to be genuinely scary in comparison to the official releases and gets rid of a lot of humor and over-the-top dialogue that didn't work in the movie while making a lot of the cast of characters much more likeable and relatable.
