we gave it a try - but couldnt get up. I've seen Koller do it on FB. didnt think it was possible... hope we get a chance this year at EJS 25.

Hi- tranny is a stock SM420. Tcase is a stock Dana 20. Diffs are 538. lock right lockers front and rear. Buick V6 oddfire motor. Sniper 2 EFI. Thanks 🙂

@@survivingminnesota8381 lol. depends on what you like. Ron likes an iron duke with 4 speed. I like Buick v6 with 4 speed. others prefer stock only. it's all up to the individual.

@@randycarroll7566 -yeah, thats one of my other jeeps. It’s a 1946 CJ2A. Has Buick V6 225, dana 20, SM420 4 speed, lockers front and back. sniper 2 efi. 33” tires with 2” lift. I have a few videos on it. It’s name is BABOY, whick means pig in Philipino. 😁 fun rig!

Old school is defintely better, no mystery off-road modes, no random beeping sounds, and no elecronic bandaids to cover up poor suspension performance. If you ever see a mildly lifted miata out on an easy trail, it might be me. There is something to be said for small lightweight vehicles with a soft flexy suspension. I'd love to get a flat fender someday, but I have an old XJ to restore.

@@maxxbear5014 yeah - just need to dial it in. I was getting aeration from the stock gas tank-air and vapor and vapor lock. i need to either buy a fuel cell with inline fuel pump or retrofit the stock tank with in tank pump.. (hint for upcoming video..lol). 😁

Don’t know but Maybe this could help… I’m unsure if you have your EFI set up “return style” or ‘returnless” but one of the main ways to prevent vapor lock is to run return style so unused fuel is constantly returned to the tank cooling the fuel off as opposed to sitting in the lines above the engine where it continues to heat up… another thought is because the air is much thinner may consider adjusting fuel on your handheld at higher altitude depending on what your AFR (air fuel ratio) gauge is reading at that particular elevation… just food for though I have 2 EFI systems and don’t think I’ll ever go back to a carb. Too enjoyable when they’re dialed in. Blessing GT

@ - hi. yes. it is return style. but i am running the stock gas tank. I have since rebuilt the tank so that i have some extra baffles and an in tank fuel pump to decrease the vaporlock and aeration… hopefully that helps.. I was suspecting adjusting the AFR, but decided not to mess with it cause I’m still not very familiar with the system. I need to test my new fuel system now… next video 😁👍
