    Both your, stances and nukite are wrong. you need to work on them. The Kiba dachi and Nukite or shuto espacially. Everything should be done right because it serves a very significant purpose. Aim for perfection always. Oh and lock your thumb in, when executing the nukite or shuto.

    I think that the both kata's from okinawa Tikki shodan & naihanshi shodan But the first one ( Tikki shodan) it's from shotokan ryu style the modern version karate and the second one ( naihanshi shodan) from shorin ryu style the origin version for shotokan style But the both styles are from okinawa karate

    • @themushashugyo

      Yes correct both are from okinawa we were just demonstrating the differences between them

    Good information but I would re-edit the videos to pull back and not cut off the feet. Also, the black on black backgrounds with a black/white coloring makes it a bit distracting. Sorry for sounding negative, just observations.

      @@themushashugyo Foot positions are crucial. Some styles specify back stances with heels slightly raised; others, like Shotokan, do not. Some katas use Sanchin dachi where others use Zenkutsu. Foot positions are crucial.

  • @ramonlijauco7563
    @ramonlijauco7563 Рік тому

    Pls be careful to use Kiba Dachi in the Tekki katas. In the Naihanchin, Sanchin Dachi is used. It is a little hard to find but the "knife hand" block in the beginning is, traditionally, best done palm upwards and bent at the wrist to generate tension in the forearm (which is the actual blocking surface). Try it out.
