To be honest I just make videos for games I like and on bits I have done with fixing things etc and older with videos with my friends playing games between my work and kids I just try to upload when I can. My more popular videos seem to be reviews and retro PS2 videos one of which I notice no one had made a video for so when I changed the disc tray cover I just decided to record it.

@@MaxProf01 I haven't been trying to monetize I believe you need something like 1000 subscribers. As for growing I have had a lot more views on certain videos I mentioned. Just find something you enjoy doing and make videos on that.

@@bmtgg543 Yes, you need 1k subs upward and 4k watch hours to get monetized. But, with your 90 subs I can assist you to increase it to 1k subs and 4k watch hours. Moreso, if you're open to implement a captivating thumbnail to your channel for the purpose of growth.

During the Vendable quest some bandit leaders will be looking to attack Cierzo at this point they do something to the water in the town once the quest is complete you will receive the lantern by using a power coil to fix the fountain.

The reeds are so frustrating especially when you need so many, wish there were more bandits and story.

Played it on the xbox, taking a short break at the moment but will be back on Dec some point after the Nov update

With both off I feel you may have a big issue, there maybe someone out there who could fix it but as for self repair without replacing the tray which I feel would involve a lot of work, unfortunately I don't have a straight forward easy solution.

As you say i am learning slowly and am sure hopefully to not be placing down and picking up traps constantly. Went a lot better in my next video although as you say overkill is definitely a thing.

I tried it because it seemed odd that there was nothing but water in there and then of course died and had to wait again.

Should give it a go, games great and can always pick it up in between other games, be interesting to see your build to if you do.

@bmtgg543 way ahead now. Entomer boots flux, silver plate with spirit of monsoon, elite plate hood with armor enchantment. They match so well too.

There should have been 2 screws normally you would of had to remove when taking it out they are either side of the controller ports if not maybe they have been removed or snapped off somehow perhaps?

Il have to keep that in mind with traps i feel sometimes though if there to close together they don't work. I will eventually make a horror bow but will probably make the horror great axe first.

@@bmtgg543 I recently used a bunch of Tripwire & Pressure Plate traps to kill the Guardian of the Compass to get the Compasswood Staff, & just used them a few days ago to kill Calygreys to get a Calygrey Mace, keeping them in a line works/worked great/perfectly. You get 3 Horror Chitin each 'run' in the Cabal Wind Temple, get those, kill 3 Hivemen, get the Palladium Scraps on the way (1 next to the Wind Temple, 1 South of the Burning Tree, 1 South of the Windmill before the Immaculate's Camp) & you'll have enough to make both, then sell the 3rd (for 900 gold in Levant, 750 anywhere else). Haven't made a Greataxe build so far, but if that's your weapon of choice, kill the Tyrant while you're at the Forest Hive & get the Unique Worldedge Greataxe, it does a LOT more Decay damage (he's nasty, bring a LOT of Tripwire Traps, like 40 - 45, or around half that number of Fire Pressure Plate Traps). I'd go Dreamer Halberd, it's so easy to get, once you know here everything is. Good luck!

cool mage armour sounds good not really used magic yet, enjoying the bow going to try get an upgraded one hopefully in Berg. Does the sword turn out to be good?

@@bmtgg543 Once combined with some other not-too-hard to obtain items it becomes a Unique called Brand that inflicts both Pain & Chill. Not a 1-Handed Sword fan, too little Impact, but it works for some builds.

@@bmtgg543 Bows work pretty well up until endgame in Caldera where they suck unless you're using one of the OP ones like Meteoric, Horrow with Irrepressible Anger Enchantment or Murmure. If you want to go full Bow for your entire run, & don't want any outside help with items, probably be best to try to get the items to Enhance the Horrow Bow or craft Murmure (kill every single Pearlbird you see until you get the Pearlbird mask, you're gonna need it to craft that bow).

Yeah i do that with quick slot, just killed a wendigo with same tactic a ''few'' traps and some iron spikes did the trick.

Glad to hear your playing with your son it is a great game, I am using the blue sand armour made by the black smith in Cierzo (Start town) you need quite a bit of silver and blue sand to make it (can be found at night on beach or from fishing). As for damage I'm using a fang weapon two handed weapons do more damage but are slower (made with predator bones from hyenas)

​​​​@@Shnickers123Blue Sand & Ammolite armor are probably your best bets at the start of the game until you find or can buy better. The Cleaver halberd that you get from the Boss in the Montcalm Bandit Camp is decent, occasionally the Blacksmith in Cierzo Loud-Hammer will sell Brutal weapons or the Giant Iron Key (could try the 3-day reset to see if he gets them into stock, but the chance is pretty small). The Recurve Bow is ok to start with, & can be upgraded to the much better Coralhorn Bow once you get to Berg. The Soroborean Caravanner in Cierzo & Chersonese sometimes (but rarely) sell the Adventurer Armor Set, as well as Obsidian Shards & Beast Golem Scraps which, if you're lucky enough to find them, make ridiculously OP weapons. In fact, if you ever see any rare materials at a Caravanner, Thorny or Shark cartilage, Mantis Granite, Phytosaur Horn, (& you can afford it), it's a good idea to pick them up. They make amazing items & it'll save you the trouble of desperately searching for them later. Your ultimate early goal though will be to get to the Cabal of Wind Temple in Berg then the Hives to get the ingredients/materials (Horoor Chitin & Occult Remains) to make Fang Weapons into much more powerful Horror Weapons, which (with the Blue Sand armor) COULD conceivably take you all the way through the end of the game. 😲 They're also great ways to make money by selling. I made tens of thousands just by crafting 2-handed Horror Weapons then selling them in towns (better to sell in Levant, you get more gold per weapon there). You get 900/2-handed weapon on Levant, so I'd get 2,700 gold/run. Good luck!

I wouldn't advise it if you plan on replacing the cover on to the PS2 you removed it from. It is a lot easier with the disk tray open and can break if removed when closed very easily.

Best place is probably ebay or possibly an old retro gaming store. Not sure if there are other sites but imagine there must be others.

I totally agree I always try to fix things and I am learning to solder. I did repurpose a lot of the parts for other purposes which meant I wouldn't have been able to use the console. But for future thank you for this advice if I come across this problem again.

Hopefully it works, console is brilliant even after all these years and It's good to see people still playing them.

Not always if it snapped yes but if just slipped off some times can clip back on It is really flimsy.

there is a little plastic lift at the end that clips it down in place, it is very flimsy though be careful when clipping it back on.

You can just buy a new ribbon to replace it. You have to take part in the whole system.

This is exactly how I fixed mine. It was loose just enough for it to not work.

Apologise for late reply I think there is one variation on either the American or Japanese version and one particular model, there is a small screw where the logo is but the majority are as shown.

The player 1 port and memory card slots are the most commonly broke ports on the system unfortunately I have only ever replaced both together but understand this is now becoming more expensive sorry I can't help.
