I am a model rail enthusiast interested in "OO" "HO" "O" Gauge, American "O" scale & Tri-ang railways/Rovex models, currently i have a 8ft x 6ft layout in my bedroom consisting of 3 tracks one of which is late 1959 Rovex series 3 plus a modest diesel yard and a work's yard opposite. The layout does not conform to
any particular era as i run trains & rolling stock which i like,and i am always adding more as i go along...model train mad !..... maybe.. My "O" gauge layout span's about 12x8ft , consisting of two tracks , a local and a main line, also i have two BR rail tracks running past the bottom of my garden which supply's the odd live train video's from time to time
plus, i use a Mavic drone for some of my videos weather permitting, i hope you will find them of interest.

old Big caliber coastal artillery gun that was used to bombard
the French coast in WW1 knowen as the Bosh Buster to it's new

This Heljans class 55 ( Royal Scot's Grey ) in "O" gauge a well appointed loco finished in its first pre -Top's paint finish & is still riding the Mainline tracks to day ! all be it in private hands. I Aquired her from Rail's of sheffield this week and has been a sweet runner straight out of the box.....enjoy..!

This is a simulation of an old bit of freight train footage, faded and bleached by time from an old BR internal film unit shoot from the 1990s shot during a bad thunder storm, which caused it not to be used as a result of its bad image quality ! i hope may find it of interest....!

This my homage to the 1970's add " Let the Train take the Strain" by BR of the day ! a mix of old and not so old high speed inter city trains, in this case a Tri-ang Rovex Midland Blue Pullman, a Hornby Virgin 125 HST and Bachmann's Blue Pullman DCC.I hope you will find it of interest ...enjoy !

This a take on the days of Steam travel of the 30's-40's&50's.The locomotive's in this video are the Tri-ang Rovex Lord of the Isles, Hornby's West Country Class Wadebridge which has been retrofitted to DCC & Hornby's P2 Cock of the North also DCC ! pulling a mix of rolling stock of those era's, i hope you will find it of interest...enjoy !

This is my take on a old mid 1970's BR Rail Freight short film show casing their high speed Freighting service's of the day, the locomotive is Dapol's DCC Class 59 in National Power's blue livery pulling a consignment of fuel oil to a distant power station in the form of Hornby tanker wagons! i hope you will find it of interest.....enjoy !

Low speed Maintenance Run by the P2 Cock of the North steam Loco.

This is a simulated low speed service run by Hornby's P2 with sound, pulling 3 Gresley Teak Coaches after a full running gear overhaul. This loco has been retro fitted with a sprung loaded front bogie as it is prone to derailing on medium radius curve's ! i hope you will find it of interest.

Nice try, but in fact it's the White Lion ...the Class 47 prototype which was damaged by a bad electrical fire two years into it's life & was quietly taken away and scraped after being scavenged for parts by the makers, a sad end to a lovely looking loco. Great stuff! I just got RSG too, but in the railtour blue. Can I ask a little about your layout? Primarily I was wondering what size it is and what the radius of your curves and points are.
Yes, absolutely, my layout is 12ft long x 8.6 inch's wide with a person sized gap running up the middle! The bends are just over 6ft wide using Peco set track 8 sections at each end, however the in side bends are made from flex track soldered together to make a much tighter bend !( beware only short wheelbase loco's will- run here!) expt Class 17 clatons & Class 128, which have greater flexibility in their Bogie swing. Large loco's may need slight modes to under body parts for clearance, a small file works well !.....Heljan does state this in their book of words, I E Class 55 Etc.... Class 52 Weston etc. The points are all standard bull head electro frog left and right points also as a point of interest, both tracks are wired by serial bus to 3 points on the layout, as some loco to tend to pull a lot of current under load ! The outside track is wired for AC/DCC by a slip switch under the base board. ps...be aware Heljan steam loco's i.e. Hattons will run on the outside track, but are not really happy on the bends, as in truth they are ment to run on wide bends, i hope this of use to you! if you need me let me know, many thanks for watching and comment on my test run video my best regards Paul.👍🚅
