Im thinking of going back to Leziate Sailing club King's Lynn,Leave it till later this year for the weather to get a bit warmer,Make some more UA-cam Videos of the place,It nearly 30 years when I last worked there back in 1995 I worked there for about a year,Come back to this place 30 years later,It ram sacked,Burned down and trashed over a billion times,Been quite disappointed really knowing its all come to this now

BBC local news website for Norfolk (28 Nov 2024) are running an article to restore Middleton Towers station building into a community space. This is great news. I hope going forward that the line may one day be used either as a herritage railway, running steam and or diesel or perhaps as a fully operating passenger service as it once was, the Lynn and Dereham railway in Norfolk.

I went there yesterday,I done some filming as well,Ive uploaded the Videos to UA-cam of my very first work placament at leziate country and sailing club King's Lynn,It not the same as it was back in 1994 when I worked there,Also got some photos of me and work boss on social Media I posted on a lot of the leziate country and sailing club posts,See what it was like then compare to now

I'm curious what the speed limit is on that stretch. EA info all says 7mph for the whole Nene and the port is 6 knots/no wake, but presumably there's a de-restricted or higher limit section?

It won't happen, if idiot government ever allowed it the mass of people would prevent it ever going ahead. Blocking access to trucks will be just one pf the actions likely if these crazed money obsessives ever get close to starting it. Whoever is funding the salaries should cut it off before more money is thrown away on ignorant fantasies. Very nice professionally shot video, just one thing, I struggled to read all the text before it left the screen, and I'm not a slow reader!

Good film. It would be good to see someone covering the impacts of what would happen to the rest of the North Norfolk coast if this was built - i.e. what land would be flooded along there when any big tides or surges down the North Sea have nowhere to go but sideways onto the North Norfolk coast or Lincs.
