The SPIDERS - SCREAMING Japanese '60s GARAGE from the 1968 movie, GO FORWARD!
A montage of WILD SCREAMING garage rock from a 1968 Japanese movie (hint: wait for the second song). Why the Spiders needed 7 guitarists I don't know, but it must have made for a massive sound at live gigs.

MISSING LINKS - WHERE WERE YOU LAST NIGHT - CAVEMAN '60s GARAGE PUNK!!!

Not the Aussie legends, these Links were from Florida. This PRIMAL lurcher has one of the BEST opening parts of any song EVER!! Those drums sound like something that might have been played at the Colosseum before an all-out gladiator brawl.
THE BETTERDAYS - Don't Want That - WILD Demo Version, '60s R&B POUNDER!
Переглядів 31010 місяців тому
One of the BEST of the non-hit R&B-garage merchants on the UK scene circa 1964-65... wild DEMO version of their only single, the frenetic ga-RAGE number 'Don't Want That'! Who says punk didn't start until 1976??

JAPANESE 60s FUZZ!! The Mops - Bera Yo Isoge ... INCREDIBLE!
Переглядів 12611 місяців тому
INCREDIBLE Japanese acid-fuzz MONSTER. This is a LIVE version too, different than the record. One of many by the band, most notorious for PLEASE KILL ME. As part of a movie, this performance gets obscured by dialog and other events.
Travis Pike and the Brattle Street East - Watch Out Woman - WILD '66 GARAGE from LOST MOVIE!
Переглядів 31011 місяців тому
Recorded on the banks of the River Charles (as the Standells would say) in Boston, '66. From a lost movie called 'Feelin' Good', the prints of which were damaged in a flood. Fortunately, this crucial footage was salvaged. Mr Travis Pike kindly allowed me to share this amazing perfomance, for those who haven't witnessed it yet. The break in the middle is PURE GARAGE PUNK!!!

BEE GEES '66 Rarity! RAY BROWN & THE WHISPERS - Too Late to Come Home

Stellar track featuring the unmistakable backing vocals of the early Bee Gees. Ray Brown and the Whispers were a hugely successful Sydney R&B group in the mid-60s, and this was their last single.
Paul Revere and The Raiders - Louise ...5-STAR '66 GARAGE MONSTER!!
Переглядів 166Рік тому
The Raiders recorded this POWER-POP BLASTER in '66 as an album track with Mark Lindsay on vocals... this is the SAME VERSION, but with lead vocal by Keith Allison, a good friend of the band. In fact, he would eventually become a fully fledged Raider.

without Tony Jackson this is not the same its weak because Tony is not singing with Mike, Mike Pender and Tony Jackson were the searchers and Tony had a unique brilliant voice . Stupid drummer Crummy Curtis should have been booted out something i feel the band will have regret ever since they faded from 1966. I am a fan but not of a stupid Crummy Curtis who i feel was their pitfall and took substances and was a nutter. if you listen to Tony Jackson record a stage door rare track 1966 he holds his own .even when he left the searchers in 1964 his voice is great even singing with the vibrations so to me the searchers were never the same. Mike formed his own Mike Penders Searchers in 1986 so it was obvious their was no blend . and in 1991 their is a clip of mike and Tony singing and having a great time and they sounded great after all the years apartfrom1964 to 1991 check it out . RIP Jackson 2003 cannot say the same for Curtis 2006 .

he sure is "stiff" on the drums, you should be relaxed when drumming, play with your wrists, not always your whole arm. I was wondering why he was wearing shades

@@DocReasonable Wow 😲😲 That must have been a great site to see. I know of younger guys that can't do that at age 20 I wish I could have been able to go to any of their concerts as a group. Or to have seen Stevie wright perform in any of his own bands. I've watched some of his concerts on you tube channel. He was a great performer, I loved 😍 to watch him dancing. I think that he does a great job on the song called. I've been loving you to long to stop now. He puts his soul into it. Great man, who we lost to sone . Thanks 👍👍👍

Amazing Steve Wright. Very sad to see him many years on as part of the the “ Alberts” story on You Tube video which explains how Easybeats George Young and Harry Vanda created such a variety of music and that led into Malcolm and Angus Young creating AC/DC and the whole idea of Aussie rock.
