Un Verdadero Heroe..nuestro Rambo...God bless him, my Puerto Rico and this great Country. SFC Cordero Rosario US Army Retired / Airborne all the way !!!
Rest in peace great soldier
Like to inform that SFC Jorge Otero Barreto Passed October 14 2024 .. He was 87. My cousin from my grandMother side from my dad
Judge Armando Flores was a doer. Like Teddy Roosevelt he believed a man must "be in the ring of life" Fighting the good fight. Never a spectator.
PR Rambo! RIP! My Pops served with the 82nd and the 101st Airbourne in the A shau Valley during the Tet Offensive. Pops went to Vietnam as a S.Sgt. He came back a 1st Lt. because of so many officers getting killed in the field, Vietnam was a hot warzone in 1967-68!
Fascinating how he just wanted to skip over his connection to the plot to kill JFK.
Fabulous session at the Voces Oral History Center's 25th anniversary. Thank you for the opportunity to hear Julieta V. García, Norma V. Cantú, Al Kauffman, Diana Noreen Rivera. Thank you to each of them for their extraordinary work.
A truly fascinating entrepreneurial family💯 Dreams can come true.
Thanks for the breakdown! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
Excellent! Congratulations.
Thank you ❤🇺🇸🫡
This PR Rambo guy brags too much and he's all over the place. Hard to understand.
🙏👍🇺🇸
My hero!!!! Salute!!
Thank you so much Voces Oral History Center, and UTA for doing this interview with my father Nelson A. Recinos. I just wanted to clarify that he actually arrived in the US in 1976 and received 2 Emmys for "Pinky and the Brain". He didn't qualify for the 3rd Emmy because he had just joined the amazing team that won, which he mentioned. Appreciate you sharing this with the world and hope to see my uncle Bill Recinos featured, as well. Salud, fe, y animo a todos! #somoslafamilarecinos #animationfamily #weareallcreativedreamers

A Southern California boy mixing it up with germanys best fighter pilots …the terror of the sky’s …he smoked them.
This woman seems awesome, a nurse, teacher and mother of many beautiful grown children, quietly doing her work in the world, looking beautiful and living healthfully. Unfortunately she married a deadbeat, some handsome playboy who is a recovering alcoholic, self-styled as a "medicine man" who fathered children in multiple countries and is a total mujeriego, while posing as a healer. It's the same old cliche. She deserved better.
SFC Otero Barreto served his country with honor and fidelity.
Very proud of Mr .Otero Barreto
MAESTRO juan b ortiz was always meant to be a teacher he always had big dreams❤ I was seventeen we sang in school always in front of the piano. He is so amazing.❤
As a fellow high school friend we're so proud of you. GOD BLESS
I love Henry..he grew up where mi madre grew up..Lincoln Heights in the late 50s...my mother would see Henry in 1980s at the Clover St Fundraisers (my mother spent her teen years living on Clover St and Mozart St)...Henry has interviewed my favorite band,Los Lobos, on several occasions....
Thank you so much for posting this! This is my mom’s aunt. We miss her so much and speaks so much like our grandpa who passed. I’m getting emotional watching this remembering how remarkable her and my grandpa were.

We spent all summers vacationing via station wagon 60s-70s in Mexico as a family 4 kids !All great memories. My wish would be that all people would be so open and friendly as those in Mexico.I grew up riding motorcycles and through to 80s and 90s my dad and I road 4 different trips going all the way to Central America. Our trips though Mexico were definitely my favorite because of the people and the places ( dad quit riding @85years) what a guy! He was TxState artist of the year in 1987 and he displayed his paintings in the rotunda of the state capitol for a month. They were mostly all of everyday people and life in Mexico.Dad painted from photographs we took on our trips. My father was a very interesting intellectual man ,retired as a senior visiting District Judge but was a Legislator and attorney.Weve been very near Mr Ramirez’s ranch on numerous trips to Big Bend National Park I sure wish these guys could have met. What a conversation that would have been.Everyone loved my dad he didn’t make people rise when he entered the court he never had an opponent except the first year as a legislator.I hope Mr Ramirez is in great health and enjoying his grandchildren!!!
¡Merecido reconocimiento a Aida Barrera y Carrascolendas! Aún canto: 🎶Carrascolendas, Carrascolendas; ¡Vámonos, vámonos, vámonos a Carrascolendas!🎵

God Bless this man for all he did and saw, an amazing history, however, cricket was never used in jump operations in Sicily or Italy, it only started its use in France for DDay, and I hate to say it but, in the movie the longest day, this exact story was created so I think maybe Mr. Hurtado, might either mixed up a few things unintentionally with the silver screen and his actual combat time. On the other hand, he just wanted to make things a bit for colorful for the story, so took a bit of Hollywood license to tell the story. But also he very well could have mixed up jumps and meant Dday, however by the time Dday came around, usually the 82nd only used the 1903A4 for snipers, everyone else was Thompsons, M1 Garands, or M3 Grease guns. Additionally, the 504 of the 82nd did not jump into Italy it was the 505 the 504 landed by boat to Salerno then Naples. Not taking anything away from the man, still an absolute hero.
That blue chord comes with a price. Love all my 11B brothers
Gracias por tu servicio.
Agapito the Lion on Carrascolendas reminds me of the Cowardly Lion in "The Wizard of Oz" from 1939!
Aww, interviews like this remind us of just how important the Voces Oral History Project is-as well as any interview project that records the voices of respected, beloved members of our community like the late Dr. Victor Nelson-Cisneros who passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2023. Here is the link to a notice of his passing from Colorado College where he served as an administrator: rrunrrun.blogspot.com/2023/10/brownsville-native-and-former-colorado.html We can never have too many interviews like these. May he rest in peace.
