@@LocoRails79 I had a thought that they combined two trains together and that may be why you see two DPUs in the middle. I saw that in another video a while ago where CSX had two trains going to the same yard so the combined them with the motive power they would normally use with each train.

@@daveluehr8685 Oop. I thought it went to Dalehurst, which is actually the gateway towards Hinton, but it’s actually either Sexsmith, AB or Fort St. John, BC. At one point, S771 used to go to Dalehurst.

Thank you. It was actually in 2003 when preproduction GEVOs started production. However, only three North American Class 1 railroads bought them. Union Pacific had “AC44EVs”, I think they nicknamed them, NS had ES40DCs and BNSF had ES44ACs. However, it wasn’t until 2005 when they started becoming production GEVOs. 2005 was also when the K5HLs, K5LLAs, K5LLs and K5HLAs started production, as it’s when the 1L bell started production. The 1L bell replaced the #5 bells, making entirely new horns. TommyBNSF made a video called the History of K5HLs, and he did an excellent job sharing the history.

@@LocoRails79 Learn something new lol, I’ve been into train history for my entire life, we have the MLWs CP 2816 coming in Winnipeg actually, It makes me pretty happy considering a 1930 workhorse is coming to town, wish it was streamlined tho, H1Bs weee produced in 1930 and the first streamlined locomotive was UP M-10000, which was produced in 1934 by EMC, A impressive car set for the UP must say.

Thank you! And for sure, a WCH E-Bell is even rarer to find on CN. And like you were saying, it’s quite uncommon to find a General Signals Type 2 on CN, especially because we’ve lost quite a few GS Type 2s on the Edson Sub.

It’s not a WCH E-Bell. It’s a Siemens E-Bell. As for the Ekyrail E-Bell, listen to the train bell and ignore the crossing bell.

Unfortunately I can only hear the crossing bell and the Train Horn. Is the horn what you are referring to. Sounds like a K5 ​@@LocoRails79

Not sure what they are, but these particular cantilevers definitely aren’t RACO because they were installed in the 1980s. Despite that, however, there is a crossing not far west of this location that used to have a RACO Mechanical Bell.

Not nearly as bad as the crappy Low-Tone Siemens Electronic Bells, in my opinion.

It really sucks that they did that. How dare they!
