UE5 Update: UE5 project can be downloaded. Check the Discord server for instructions. Tutorial update: some animations aren't working properly in UE5. They have been fixed. This III project is so impressive, nice! Seeing the latest work you posted on r/GTA makes me very eager to see the final product. I'd say it's the most intriguing Upstate mod I've seen, from all the other attempts from over the years. This map makes it feel like an expansion pack for III from a alternate dimension lol. Keep it going! 👍
Update your documentation. If you change key points, at least add text with information!! Radar colors no longer exist. Why is it needed?
Radar Colors and Color Tag have been replaced with just Color ID, Data Table and Level Tag have been replaced with Grid ID, I'll update the description.
Do we have a tutorial for the latest update? things look a bit different, I don't have the options from 4:48 , Level tag is missing
'Level Tag', 'Color Tag' and 'Data Table' options were replaced with 'Grid ID' and 'Color ID'. The rest should work the same way as before.

Make a tutorial for Wanted Level System?
Hey Adrian, I have read that your plugin only supports the GPS drawing, but would it be possible if you could also add a dynamic GPS route calculation. I think this could maybe be achieved with an dynamic overlay over every map tile and a predifined paths/ roads map, which is invisible to the player but used in an abstract way by the dynamic system to calculate the shortest distance along the predefined path/ road tiles's. Idk if a GPS route calculation system can be achieved this way, or if it even would perform good, just let me know what you think about it ;)
It's possible to use the UE's pathfinding system with TBM, I even left an example in the Example Project. However when it comes to a GPS system like in eg. GTA this is something the traffic system would do, ie. you'd ask the traffic system to calculate the route from point A and point B then you'd plug the result into the TBM GPS widget. I'm definetly not doing that since it would be more advanced than the whole plugin itself. It is an idea for a separate asset though.
@@adriank2352 great, would love to see something like this. Would also be helping me out a bit. I' am tying to create a prototype for a truck simulation game. A ready to run GPS calculation system, implemented into the map/ mini map would thus be really time saving for a GPS System
11:15 you skip so many steps. There is no explaining where that component comes from, or how to put the settings into your spawned minimap. Poorly explained.

Great purchase! Thanks for the video, works well! few questions is it possible to set the meshes to anchor points? When I try to put an Initialization Field to the BP_Chaos_Object1 it doesn't let me save the file. If no anchor it compiles and saves fine. And where would be the best place to put a dissolve effect?
I'm not sure if anchor fields are even possible on dynamically spawned GCs. As for dissolve I'd probably put it in the actor itself after some delay (just make sure the delay is smaller than removal timer so the effect plays before the actor is destroyed)

How does one go about showing the hidden holstered weapons on the character?
You can loop trough the inventory to get the stored weapon names, then you can find the weapon meshes from the weapon data table using that name.
Is the color error only when playing as the red mannequin? Also are you switching the mannequin from red to blue during this or is that also from error? The blue mannequin doesn't seem to have issues with the color
Man, I want all the upstate liberty countryside mods to collab with each other. Making the perfect mod ever!!! The tunnel will have 2 parts. 1 part leads us to the liberty city bank/ghost town. The main road leads us to the countryside hills. In that hills, we have small high quality textured villages. There are also small family houses and one of them is Claude's own house which has interiors from SA/Vice city. The ammunation should be available to purchase weapons. From the hills, we should be able to see the Francis Internation Airport. There is a little bridge in the downside of the hills. There should be a boat down there. We could take the speedboat and reach Shoreside Vale's Francis Internation Airport!!!!

I think there should be no problem backporting the plugin itself. The example project though, I don't know how different Chaos Destruction is between 4.27 and 5.0 so no promises.
I was wrong unfortunately. Porting the plugin to 4.27 is too much work mainly due to TObjectPtr.

Imagine a story mode in this map
I am imagining a manhunt like game on the map. It could be done, manhunt and GTA games use the same engine. Or may be a story mode where you play as a contract killer, everyday the character wakes up and gets his contract from a phonebooth like in Vice City. Then with the money they get, the player will have to choose the way he will carry out the assassinations and buy equipments and ammo from the money earned.
