I always think it would be hilarious if the breakaway group had little hidden motors in the frame of their bikes that would allow them to do 70-80k on the flats. I could just hear the announcer, "The breakaway is gaining time on the peloton. It's up to 5:30, no, wait, it's 5:45, no,no....it's up to 6:00, 6:20, 7:00 minutes. At this rate, they'll come in a full HOUR before the peloton! It doesn't seem possible! They're doing downhill speeds on the flats! The motorbikes are having a hard time keeping up with them. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON????
