Met Redd in the continental about twenty years ago on holiday from Ireland wandered in Sunday afternoon never heard of him band started up wasn’t expecting much two numbers later jaw on floor who is this guy in the break asked Redd how do you do that a smile and the wry humble reply well I’ve been playing for a long time ran to a record shop back in time for him to autograph it great holiday in Austin plus finding guitar genius long before any musician here ever heard of him told everyone who’d listen about him up there with the greats way to go Redd

Redd & Cindy - two Fender representatives that the company wished they would have discovered! I met Redd in Nashville, we had so much fun hitting pawn shops and record stores. Don Kelly was always dragging up a trio somewhere and printers alley was alive and well. Some of my fondest memories were being around Redd and Ernie. Redd is the most humble guitar monster you will ever meet! Hands Down- a global guitar legend! Thank you Redd for all the moments and laughter
